Last two visits service was terrible. Four or five employees ignoring the line grow to the point other customers walked out. It's a shame they have a great product

I’ve been here many times in the early morning, but today was the first time I received horrible customer service. Whoever the guy with long hair is needs to go back to school and learn about how to treat people, even if you are working that early in the morning.

Customer service is so HORRIBLE. I promise you we walked let someone pass us because we weren’t ready we didn’t want take up time because the guy taking orders looked annoyed. Anyway we then started taking orders he literally was not feeling it. If we took to long he would say okay NEXT.. like can we take it easy. Anyway we ignored it. Not more than a minute later we wanted to change one of the cream cheese and he started arguing with us how we don’t know how to order etc. etc. It’s really horrible. This guy literally told us that he was annoyed because he’s been working all day and all 5 of us should have known what we wanted when we first walked in. We weren’t even bothering him because we moved to the side till we know what we wanted. Not just that when he was making our food he was mumbling things like a little kid. Idk what happened this place used to have very welcoming people it’s 5Am. We’re fasting all day the last thing we wanted to do is go argue with someone. Very disappointing and will not be coming back.

I don’t know why this place is so highly rated. It is not New York style at all. New York bagels are not sliced and toasted. They’re also pretty hard. I drove 30 mins out of the way to try this place just because of the ratings and it was disappointing
The best bagels and cream cheese.

For those who are craving a quality bagel and outstanding service - look no further. They make some of the best, if not the best bagel in the Chicago-area. I drive from the city to here for my bagel fix. Great fresh, or sliced/frozen & toasted. The lox sandwiches are great too. No frills, just good, well-made food.

This place is NOT 24 hrs as suggested
Got lox bagel sandwich on Pumpernickel Rye. Their ratios of ingredients is spot on. I could taste each ingredient in a single bite and it didn't fall apart either. The best bagels I've ever had. Perfect texture. The Hamentashen is HUGE! And so good with morning cup of coffee. Highly recommend this place.
Such good bagels and good price. Very nice staff

Open late, times have fluctuated recently but I think it’s back to 24hrs now.
Food is solid and offers a lot of value, limited variety but everything I’ve gotten has always hit the spot.
Love the atmosphere of a rustic New York Bagel shop, it’s not pretty but it is immersive especially when there is a random line of all sorts of people at 3am. I’ve been here late night a lot!
Vegetarian options: Already limited menu gets smaller but if you are ok with cream cheese you can get a bagel. Lots of pastries but most probably have cheese/dairy.
Parking: It’s an awkward one-way parking lot that’s easy to miss and kind of cramped but it’s easy to find a spot.
