Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

That was the worst experience ever I have to wait 45 minutes for sprinkles. I ordered two of them. They gave me one and then they had me wait another 10 minutes for the other one the worst experience those people are very unprofessional.

Just visited this location today around 2pm,for the 1st in a long time.
I’ve never written a review before, but my experience at the Oberweis in Lincolnwood was so bad, I had to say something. The older lady at the front—hopefully not the manager—was shockingly rude and dismissive. She didn’t greet me, didn’t ask for my name when I came for a pickup, and acted like I was bothering her just by walking in. No smile, no basic courtesy, nothing, just rude!!!

It’s honestly upsetting that someone with such a poor attitude is working in customer service. If Oberweis cares at all about their customers, they need to seriously rethink who they put at the front counter. I won’t be coming back to this location.

I normally love Oberweis. This was a disappointing visit. They no longer have my favorite flavor of ice cream. They were out of plain waffle cones, so I got the chocolate dipped waffle cone. It basically disintegrated as I tried to eat my ice cream, so I had to throw it out, wasting almost $10.

This is our local store and we are happy to give them our business! We buy milk often and the service is top notch especially when we had a pint of ice cream that did not taste right and the manager was great and let us take a new pint. Plus it’s always a good time to enjoy an ice cream in the shop! 10/10

I show up once a week to get chocolate chip ice cream. The kids working behind the counter have messed up my order 3 times, 3 separate occasions now. I order chocolate chip ice cream (vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips) and these kids don’t know what it is!

These GenZ kids have no pride in their jobs, their work, honestly they need to leave this place and go deliver pizzas because scooping ice cream is too difficult!

This was my first time to Oberweis and was truly in for a treat. I was thrilled with the atmosphere, service and most of all the ice cream. Gosh it was the best butter pecan I ever had over the years. I usually eat only half a cone ice cream, but here I ate the whole thing and didn’t even feel overly sweetened. They also have a wide array of ice cream tubs, yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese and other dairy products. I highly recommend this place and I am looking forward to visiting this wonderful place again.

Fun atmosphere. There were a lot of teens hanging out, playing chess, and taking pics. It's a bit pricey, but your ice cream is very good, very rich.
My order was lost, and I had to go to the counter to inquire about it.
