“I have nothing but compliments for this wonderful establishment! My fiancé and I went out to dinner last night and had a taste for authentic Italian. I found this place online and read nothing but wonderful reviews about the food, and service. Located in downtown Westmont. Parking was so easy (right across the street), and from the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. The manager Sergio greeted us with a huge smile, sat us, and told us a little about the restaurant. Our server Alysa was nothing short of amazing, knowledgeable, and gave us wonderful recommendations. We felt like family! All of the food is made in house, pastas, sauces, and even the wine and desserts! You can taste the quality of the ingredients, and tell that every single person puts so much care into making sure every customer is happy. The whole experience was wonderful, and it’s so nice to see small (not chain restaurants) are thriving. It’s been a long time since we had an experience like this at a restaurant and we appreciate their hospitality! I think we found our new date night spot! We will be back!! OFTEN! “The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. The morning of the party I went to the Ogden Avenue location for pick up, and it turned out that they had been delivered to the route 59 location by mistake. The staff was extremely gracious and offered to pick up the cupcakes from the wrong location and deliver them to my home just in time. They turned out absolutely beautiful and were so delicious!! “A favorite of mine! The Farmer's Market Benedict is delicious as are the Swedish pancakes with lingonberries. My sister has celiac disease, and Egg Harbor has a good selection of gluten-free items on their menu. Servers polite and attentive. Friendly atmosphere.

“The largest of the BlackBerry Market installations and the one I gravitate towards the most; while both the Glen Ellyn and LaGrange locations are charming, the Oak Brook building is more impressive, with higher ceilings, a gorgeous amount of light due to the ample windows, and a great mix of different seating options. I’ve been to BlackBerry market to simply grab a quick bite after running errands in the area, but I’ve also come here with a larger group of friends for relaxed brunch. No matter the occasion, I’ve never been disappointed with the food! It hits every time— my special shoutout goes to the Italian Wedding Soup, as well as the Chicken Avocado Club! I always gravitate towards those dishes and they never let me down.“

“Flavorful Feast with Excellent Service!
The Port of Peri Peri definitely delivered on the flavor front! The peri-peri chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of heat. The sides were also delicious - especially the flavorful rice and the perfectly cooked vegetables.

The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, perfect for a family meal. Overall, a great dining experience! I'd definitely recommend The Port of Peri Peri for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

“Incredible breakfasts with lots of food. The bacon avocado omlet was filled with fresh avocado and served with a large side of hash browns and a delicious larger biscuit. Very good coffee. Our waitress was lackluster. She never recommended anything, asked whether we had ever been there nor asked us how our food was. She also never asked whether we needed anything after receiving our entrees and it was very difficult to get a second cup of coffee. We had to wait a long time for it. She looked surprised when I politely pointed out my hash browns were not served with the rest of our food. Luckily I received them. Realized we needed more napkins after she left, but she never came back. Would have loved jam for the biscuit like in the picture and a third cup of coffee. I would have also ordered beignets to take home. In spite of the service, I would love to come back. Hopefully will have a different server. I wasn’t aware of all the different coffee drinks and would have loved recommendations. I realize the work is hard as I did it myself years ago, but such good food deserves a better server to showcase it.“

“This is the 2nd year I've placed a delivery order with NBC for my daughter at Wheaton Univ. to share with her friends. The mini bundts were extremely well-liked. I considered going elsewhere, this year, but nobody else could do a last min. order. So, I went with NBC, again. I felt guilty looking elsewhere! The owners are so nice and accommodating. The flavors are so amazing! And, once again, my daughter is the most popular girl in her friend group for, at least, a day thanks to NBC!“

“Out of towners and first time at Lou Malnati's in Naperville. Fantastic!! If you like sausage, get The Malnati Chicago Classic, sausage in every bite. We added Pepperon and it was delicious! Deep dish pizza with a light butter crust. Plenty of seating with indoor and outdoor. Staff was hustling and always there. Finally, we had Tiramasu for dessert...another YUM. I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time.
