I’d like to think that if I had a Nonna, she’d be welcoming and never fail to overfeed me. Her food would be hearty and flavorful and she’d never let me leave empty handed. Had my second meal at Mama Onesta's yesterday. The chicken marsala and tortellini Ashley are both delicious! Overall I give this restaurant a 4 star rating just because of the the atmosphere..... being a fairly small place with wooden floors, it is pretty loud inside, and difficult to have a conversation.
Went there on a regular Sunday afternoon, no reservation. Tracy was our server. She was professional & asked if we have any questions about menu. She offered to bring more bread which we accepted. I ordered Veal Florentina & chicken Alfredo. We waited a bit for it but was worth it. Food arrived hot. My veal was quite salty but I don’t use salt in my kitchen at all so I am sure my taste buds are sensitive. Other pasta was rich in flavor. Try this local place. It has character!
