First time using The Shack for catering. It was a seamless process. GREAT food! Bob is wonderful. Pricing was reasonable. On time and food was hot at time of pick up. Can’t recommend them enough for your next event! We’ll definitely be using The Shack again!

I ordered a smoked turkey from The Shack for Thanksgiving simply due to the fact that I have never had a bad experience with The Shack. (FYI, their Sunday Family Packs are amazing!) We picked up the turkey cold on Wednesday as they prepared it as a heat and serve. We tried it Wednesday, just to try a little before Thanksgiving, and the flavor was so pronounced - even cold! The turkey was delicious- in fact I don't even think that delicious is the right word. The turkey was a hit with everyone. We bagged up the little we had remaining and put it in the freezer. We took it out a week later and made white turkey chili (instead of chicken) and the turkey still was extremely flavorful! I highly recommend The Shack to anyone looking for some great BBQ/Catering! I would love to give them more than 5 stars if I had the opportunity!

Their building is for rent.Out of business??Pros: food was tasty, I had 1/2 slab ribs, baked potatoe soup, and an extra side of baked beans.Ole lady had, 1/2 chicken and a baked potato. It's close to home.Price is decent.Cons: lady on phone didn't know what pieces were in the 1/2 chicken. No biggie.Food was cold! I'm writing this at 6:30 P.M. after i just ate, they close at 9:00 P.M.No excuse for cold food.Everything. Soup was luke warm.Baked potatoe was cold, chicken, cold.Ribs actually felt cold to the touch.Now my review is based on temperature of the food. No excuse tho. I live 2 minutes away.We will try them again.We Tried 2 more times, this place is struggling. 2nd time we just got Ribs and they were great.3rd Time tonight, Ole lady got a pulled pork platter. It was meat chunks in a box, cold again, dry. Chunks, not pulled pork.They told her they need 24 hour notice to shred the pork.Some pieces were over smoked, like on a gas grill with dry wood.Sorry Shack, I'm done with ya.Adios

I went here because my brother mentioned to me that “the shack” has decent wings. So I decided to go for my birthday lunch and wow. I got 10 bbq wings and they were so good and massive. One may say the price for 10 is a little pricy but the wings won’t let you be unsettled and hungry. I will come here more often

I should have taken pictures but everyone dug into the food so fast! We had a party at the studio and ordered the Shack for catering. Everything was amazing! The guests could not stop raving about the food. Also, you really get a lot of bang for your buck! We ordered the shack pack for 35 plus Mac and cheese, salad, pretzels, and the meatless wings. Everyone had seconds (and thirds and fourths!) But we still had leftovers that were equally great eaten later! The meatless wings amazed all the meat eaters, they were so good, and were a great vegetarian option.They dropped the food off and set it up for us as well as packed the food and put it in the car for us at the end of the party! Such high quality service to match the high quality food. Definitely going to be ordering from them again soon.

Everything I had here has been amazing.....except the chicken ceasar salad. Unfortunately they put hot/warm chicken on top of the lettuce and it was all wilted, other than that the salad also delicious. We've had many of the sandwiches, almost all the flavors of wings, and all of their sides. Everything has tasted great!!! Keep up the great work and please chill the chicken or put it on the side for the salads!!
Best BBQ we have ever had!! And we are some picky people. Service was fantastic!! Portions are big!! I would give this a 10 if I could! Finally a great place!

I can go on and on about how incredible the food is- it is. I’m not one to crave BBQ food, but this is the place that makes me pretend I don’t see any food in the house.BUT! Aside from that, the owner and employees deserve SO much recognition. With all the hard work they put into the menu, making things fresh and unique and delicious- it’s amazing what a sense of family and familiarity they have. I commend them for making a small business work, during a pandemic especially, but with service that benefits the customer without compromising the employees. Five stars for the food, five stars for the service, five million stars for the people who make it all happen!

If there’s any business that could get your mouth hole dripping with drool, it’s the Shack! The are a killer scratch kitchen with a fantastic menu and lots of surprise specials provided throughout the month. The Shack also caters for private events—and they can do more than just BBQ for your special day! Their menu is all original and admired so much that you can often see other businesses try to mimic and fail to produce what the Shack pushes out of their kitchen. They also care about their patrons—any allergies and diets will be honored and all their food is made with care. Get their food once and you’ll be hooked!

This place has really good food. We tried the firecracker vegetables which were phenomenal, the barbecue coconut shrimp wrap my wife loved it and I tried the sausage and barbecued pork and it was really good. We will definitely be trying this place again.
