We visited the Vegan Cafe last week on our way from Starved Rock back to Chicago. We couldn't believe there was such an amazing raw food spot in a small town like Lockport - the food was super, super delicious. We had two of the appetizers, nachos and pizza bites - they were filling and outstanding. The cheesecake was so good I had to order another one for the road. I was skeptical to eat there because I didn't have particularly satisfying experience eating raw food...
LOVE this spot & what they have to offer! Recently tried their gyro plate off of their September Vegan Chef Challenge menu & was so satisfying 🤌🏼 I feel like I have to go back & get it once more before its gone bc Im not sure if it will be a permanent menu item!

Went for a meetup dinner so I got to try a lot of the items …the flavors were outstanding!!! Very friendly owner and cozy restaurant! She held a demo for us to show us some amazing recipes. It was a wonderful evening! #Veganuary
