Gia Mia is a great place to enjoy a nice glass of wine and Italian food. I’ve been here several times, trying something different each time, and the food is terrific. I’ve had the wood-fired margherita pizza, rigatoni bolognese, and the simple arugula + jumbo shrimp + avocado salad. The food is delicious, but my word, the blackened shrimp on the salad was out of this world. So good!
Look, I love Gia Mia...it is one of my favorite restaurants to visit and I've been to almost all of them, the food is always great and the service as well. But the Lombard location today left a lot to be desired...they have a fruit fly problem. Got just about through my 1st beer, shooing off fruit flies and notice one in my beer. Told the bartender and got a replacement. Ordered food to go and another beer. Food came, was enjoying my beer and looked down and another fruit...read full review
The service was great. Jay was very attentive and probably the most chill dude ever. Highly recommend.
