“Nice smoothie place on Roosevelt and main street. Lots of varieties of smoothies to choose from.Some have a ton of protein in it, Upto 41 grams. There are other options with more greens and fruits.They have some smoothie bowls too.They do have protein powder on sale there too.There is not a lot of seating space inside and the music was a little too loud.“

“I do not have any complaints about the food, but I have been bothered by a situation which occurred while we were here. I brought 2 of my young granddaughters here last week. We arrived around 11:15 and planned to stay and eat our açaí bowls for lunch. While we were deciding what to order, there were 12-15 high school girls who came in and took every seat to eat their lunches which they brought from home. I believe 1 girl ordered something, but the rest sat and ate their lunches which they did not order from this establishment. We left after getting our food and walked home to eat since there were no seats for us to sit. I can’t believe people are allowed to bring their own food into this place to eat and take up every seat. I was visiting Glen Ellyn, so I don’t know if this is a common practice of restaurants to allow people to bring in their own food? But, I have never experienced this in other towns, and would be embarrassed if one of my family members would do this! And, I would imagine these girl’s parents don’t take their own food into the restaurants in Glen Ellyn! I did not see any sign on the door which said “paying patrons only”, so assume it is okay with management?“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“This location was a bit disappointing. I dined in and noticed staff members do not greet customers - they just ask what they want at the register. They forgot my fork and my water I asked for, and didn’t ring up my cookie. My wrap was mushy and didn’t taste as good as it normally does (way too much dressing).“

Apparently, hubby said it came up as $0 but then the clerk backed it out snd charged us $1.50. I would have told her to take her tap water and shove it - with my whole order but husband was nicer.“

“The food was actually incredible. That to me is always the most important and I got the chicken legs and thigh with a dry rub, the outside of the chicken was crispy and the inside was juicy.

One important note is for the best experience it's worth eating at the restaurant fresh. When the food comes out hot it's at its best.“

We were picking up a few blizzards, and two of them were off menu requests (older/retired recipes). The manager (owner?), Rerish, took great care of us and gave us very good recommendations. He made sure we got what we were looking for and shared the recipes so the recipients would know what to ask for next time. The two blizzards were delivered, and the kids LOVED them. Thanks so much! “This place is the only Japanese inspired bubble tea I have found in the county of Dupage and in the west suburbs of Chicago. From Hokkaido milk tea to the shokupan (swirl bread), they offer a variety of Japanese items to try. As someone who grew up in Japan I really appreciate that they have brought in drinks and food that remind me of some piece of home.

I recently noticed that they added jewelry accessories including some Sanrio character earrings. The earring variety may change.

Regardless of your background, if you want to try a place that’s a little different from what you are used to, you can give this place a try. The staff is friendly and they also try to incorporate communal meals to be enjoyed by the locals and visitors alike.“

“Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“
