Love this place. Thicker noodles than most places, delicious and hearty bowls of food. Service is always good unless they're slammed but it's understood. Will always be back.

Kitakata is such a great ramen spot! Probably my top in the Chicago suburbs. I like the spicy tan tan ramen which has great depth of flavor and good spice, plus the cubed chashu is so tender and flavorful. The staff is always really nice, though it can get busy.

Absolutely fantastic ramen. I've tried just about all the ramen on the menu and a few side dishes and everything is delicious. I have never been disappointed by any meal I have here.

Outside of California, this is the best ramen place I have been to. My favorite part about Kitakata ramen is that they have seasonal ramen that are only available for 3 months.

They have lunch specials that run Monday through Friday where you can get an appetizer...
