Covered Bridge Creamery

This past November marked the very 1st time trying this landmark ice cream parlor for dessert after trying a famed pizzeria nearby in town for the 1st time as well.Covered Bridge Creamery is a real treat for Long Grove and the residents are lucky to have this gem. My sister and I have finally found a place to drive to an ice cream shop near home! We always had to go to Kenosha to get our favorite ice cream, but now we are glad we no longer have to waste gas. The shop serves coffee, tea, and ice cream. The shop's interior is much smaller and crowded, but the patio outside is spacious.I usually get the Mint Chocolate Chip flavor, while my sister gets the Carrot Mango Italian flavor. Came here around 5 pm on a Thursday. They have great options for dairy and egg free options.The owner ( I think) was there and she was really helpful. Most of the servers are young kiddos so be patient with them?
