Love the beautiful and tasty Valentine-shaped birthday cake!BANDS Sweet Shoppe is a state-of-the-art bakery that I highly recommend! A friend and I recently celebrated a family reunion gathering and we got a lot of compliments on the delicious cake and its decorations. The cake was so beautiful that the guests took pictures of it and asked us where we got it. Torie was very kind and professional and listened carefully to how we wanted the cake designed. “Best experience ever!!! The owner & staff was so nice. Me and my fiancé attend their baking class today and we both really enjoyed it. She explained everything very welll and even help us throughout the session. We traveled 3 hours to visit and it was well worth it. I will be back. I also won cookies playing bingo while baking our cooking and the cookies I won was amazing they tasted so good. If you are in the area please try them and book a baking class you will not be disappointed.“

“I called in an order for a cake for a retirement party. When I went to pick it up, I was disappointed; the cake was nicely decorated, but not what I had in mind for a man’s retirement party. I explained that it wasn’t really what I had expected. Karen took the cake in the back, scraped off the frosting, and started over. She decorated it exactly how I wanted. It was beautiful…and delicious! Karen went the extra mile (with no extra charge) to be sure I was a satisfied customer. Thank you, Karen!“

“Was once the Best old time Bakery hands down in the area! It's now changed hands and under a revival. Currently operating as a pop up next door to the original location. Tried some of the items at this location in the past and it was not up to expectations. This time was different. Had the pazki and it brought back the memories of the original. “I chose Hi way bakery because my parents used to get our cakes there when we were kids. I called them during Holy Week as I needed a custom order cake for my daughter’s birthday coming up on that weekend. They were able to accommodate my request and the cake turned out absolutely beautiful!!! My daughter was very pleased. I highly recommend their cakes and their vanilla long Johns. The service is excellent too. Everyone is so friendly!“

“THE BEST PEACH PIE I'VE EVER EATEN. I do not say that lightly. It's deep dish and filled with quality fruit. I didn't get any bitter or hard peach and there was enough gel that it was flavorful and moist, but not overwhelming. “Even though this bakery serves the Hispanic community it does have great tasting donuts. When looking for a long john I can count on them. Nice and soft while not being burned. Sometimes I like the bread with the cream cheese in it only they seem to burn it which changes the flavor of the bread. But all in all a very good bakery.“
