Positive vibe and energy as soon as you hit the door. nice set up and the upstairs is really inviting. Very happy to had the privilege of finding a great place like this. “This is an unassuming little place, but the coffee and pastries are really tasty. And what makes the place is the staff, which is SOOOO nice! Its my favorite place for mid-bike-ride pause from Chicago.

“What an awesome place, every shake sounds like it would be delicious I can't wait to try them all. Their location is kind of obscure but very convenient it is right off of 173rd just west of Calumet. Directly across the street from Terry's aquarium and Walgreens. All of their shakes have natural ingredients and natural sweeteners and they use Herbalife protein powders and vitamin supplements.

“Absolutely the best food and customer service on the south suburbs. I had a party of 11. We sat down at a table immediately, the waitress took our drink order and then food order. Everything came out the kitchen fresh and hot. The food smelled delicious and looked delicious. me and my friends did the happy 😊 dance all afternoon. 5 out of 5 🌟“

“Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“

“Great place for food, service and ambience. Our server Jen is awesome and provided great suggestions. The Halibut and Fish and chips rock. Fantastic music playing while enjoying great food and service. We had the bread pudding for dessert! Very yummy and not overly sweet.“

“Clean store. Peaceful atmosphere. Staff is polite and smile. Food was fresh and made to order. There was stone constantly walking through the lobby cleaning up. I ordered the broccoli & cheddar bread bowl and the French Onion Soup bread bowl. Both were tasty.“
