We had a school fundraiser in the area, purchase potbelly and 25% of proceeds should go back to the school. However, I ordered online and was told there is no way to count it toward the fundraiser when ordered online. I had no way to cancel the order online and was told they had no way to cancel or adjust the order online their end. I would never have gone to potbelly tonight, had it not been for the fundraiser. Now, I will never give them business again and will advise the school to choose another restaurants to support for future fundraisers. What horrible customer service.

They offer the option of serving their sandwiches cold but then ignore the order and toast anyways. Constant issue. They made me run my cc 3x due to an employee error. My avo turkey came complete with large rock hard avocado stem piece that luckily did not crack my teeth. I reported it but it was excused away with no surprise or concern. Frustrations are expected but hazardous food materials are not. I'm done.

This is one of my favorite Potbelly locations! The General manager treated us with such respect and kindness, her name tag said Keegan! I went with my grandparents that were struggling to order, she went to take our order at the table and had no problem explaining the menu to them, this was soo appreciated! I love this location and the staff are all so sweet and food was delicious!! HIGHLY recommend
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options! Sandwiches can be made without certain meats to accommodate!
Kid-friendliness: LOTS of books and kid menu options
Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are set up with wheelchair accessibility, they will also come to your table if needed!

Ordered the wreck and loaded baked potato soup. Sandwich was good, however the soup was tasteless and doesn't even compare to Longhorn's. Wife said the same thing on their load baked potatosoup. She had the Mediterranean was said it was her new favorite.

It's better than Subway, no doubt. They have different options of bread and sizes. They serve toasty subs. They have different options of sauces and veggies. The meats are good quality. I recommend the original Italian.
Vegetarian options: There are few options, except for salads and one veggie sub there is not much more.
Parking: The venue is located in a small plaza, so limited spots for parking lot.
Kid-friendliness: Not adequate for kids. This place is more oriented for teenagers and adults.

I pull up to Potbelly in machesney park and there are cones in front of the drive through board so I assume, like the car infront of me that the ordering board is broken. The car in front of me pulls away and I pull up to the window. The rude employee flys open the Window and says we aren't doing drive through that's why the cones are out, Thank you and slams the window before I have an opportunity to say anything. Very rude, maybe block off the drive through lane if you don't want to service customers.
