“I recently visited this Dunkin’ Donuts location and had a mixed experience that I would like to share in a constructive spirit.
There was a Dubai cake displayed with a clearly marked price of $29.99 on the box. However, when I checked out along with a few other items, my total came to around $62. When I asked for clarification, I was told the cake had been charged at approximately $37 plus tax. What concerned me was not simply the price difference, but the way the situation was handled.
I understand that pricing errors can happen. These things are part of running a business. What matters most is how they are communicated to the customer. In this case, the response felt dismissive, more like take it or leave it, rather than an effort to explain the discrepancy or resolve it politely. A brief, calm explanation or acknowledgment would have made a big difference.
This is not about a few extra dollars. It is about customer experience, transparency, and respect in communication. Especially in a smaller city where businesses rely on loyal customers, these interactions matter.
I noticed the overall rating is around 3.4, and I believe there is a real opportunity here. With a bit more attention to staff training, especially in handling pricing concerns and customer communication, this place could significantly improve its reputation.
I am sharing this feedback with the hope that it helps the team grow and provide a better experience going forward.“

“Overall great stuff. My only knock is that I was told there would be 31 flavors. When I counted, it was only 24. I'm not math whiz...hell...I barely passed 5th grade math, but 6x4 is still 24. All good though, because they have pink bubble gum and that's the best...I have loved it since I was in 5th grade....which I barely passed.“
