“Lori was easy to talk to about details and my expectations. The buttercream was good, although a hint of almond may have given it a more refined flavor (Lori no longer eats/tries her buttercream, as she had " so much of it throughout the years". I gave her an idea of a hint of a peach color and she obliged with simple roses of that color. The cake was tastie and tastefully decorated for our 37th Anniversary combined with 2dz. cupcakes for 60th Birthday. (The spiced cupcakes were the favorite of our guests.) I will consider her for future gatherings.The only thing I wish had been different was that she could've delivered for us, as I had to pick it up by myself on that busy day and we have curvy roads toward our home. So, I did have a bit of a "slide" into the box, which was NOT tall enough or lodged tightly enough for the cake not to slide to one side. Thankfully, I was able to turn it slightly for placement on my cakestand and most people didn't notice the faux pas. I did listen and abide by the directions to refrigerate before the beginning of the party. And I didnt add it to our decor until about a half hour before cake cutting time. Also, I added my original cake topper to it with a signage of "Mr&Mrs" from the Party Store in Champaign.“
