“I wanted to take a moment and thank the American Legion Post 650 Mansfield Illinois. Thanks for Hosting Big Guns last night. It gave us another reason to get out of the house. A pure pleasure For Julie and me, to have a couple of drinks while supporting our service members. We owe everything to them and their families. Last night's visit allowed us a guided tour of their new state-of-the-art kitchen. Having worked in the restaurant and health service industry for decades. We were both elated to see all the health and safety issues they had put into place with this new remodel! The prices and food were beyond expectations. The cleanliness lets you know it was run by ex-military people. Foodservice is available on Fridays and Saturdays. All the employees we met were volunteers and just working for tips. Beer prices are $2.25 wow! The new outdoor patio is fantastic! I would be amiss not to mention the nice slot machine room. In closing, we both felt grateful to get to hang out with some of the coolest people we ever met! Allowing us one more opportunity to thank them for their relentless commitment to The USA. Still, a nice ride either though they straightened the curved bridge out.”

“We've been to Briks several times and love their food and atmosphere! We tried their wings and Fire & Smoke pizza for the first time the other day and OMG we inhaled our food! The wings were big and perfectly cooked, and that pizza was the perfect savory with a little heat and sweet on a deliciously crisp, wood-fired crust. They're not just a seasonal spot, their offerings are amazing year round and we'll be back very, very soon!”

“very cute shop. very delicious ice cream. we were excited that they had lactose free options always available. the old fashioned lollipops & bottled soda choices were fun, too. we like Fitz soda & it's sold here. we got ice cream in waffle cones & bowls. they were all good. we will definitely be back. the prices & flavors of ice cream were very fair.”

“The coffee shop was very beautifully appointed had a nice energy. The employees are all very sweet very efficient and kind. Food was great. We had the flatbread breakfast pizza, macchiato, and a specialty pumpkin pie latte which was yummy. Will be back when we’re down this way. Highly suggest going there he will not be disappointed.”

“Shout out to the amazing waitress/bartender working last night (didn't catch her name) -- she was a one-woman show handling the entire place and gave our table of 8 outstanding service! Drinks and food both came out quickly and she had the best attitude -- hope the owner sees this-- she's worth her weight in gold!”

“So, my family and I went out for dinner at Crawfords this evening. Afterward, we decided to get ice cream next door, but unfortunately, they were closed. As we were walking away, the young lady stopped cleaning up and invited us in. l would like to recognize this young lady that was working the evening of 8/27 she was very pleasant and made our evening.”

“I had Fillipo’s for the first time last night. Their spaghetti was delicious ! I can’t wait to go back.”

“I placed a delivery order from breaking taco for the first time. It arrived quickly. I was missing a side & I called to complain- they brought me the missing item immediately. I was very impressed with this because I feel like other places would offer a refund for the item instead. The food was delicious, especially the churros:)”

“We’re waiting for our Auto to be repaired and near the auto shop was a Starbucks. We ordered iced coffee latte and mocha latte and it was all delicious. The young lady at the counter was very nice and gave me a refill of my iced coffee late.”

“I waited 50 mins for a carry out medium pizza. They had not started to cook it at my pick up time. It was not cooked to order and tasted like cardboard. A waste of $30. Next time I will go by a Digorno and cook it my self.”

“Lori crafted the cupcakes and cake for our wedding this past weekend. The cupcakes were delicious and went over really well with our guests. My husband loved the red velvet cake that we had for our first cake. Much thanks to Lori!”
