Went to the Wendy's in Manteno tonight6/9/2024. it was horrible. I ordered a small chili with cheese and onion and a Jr bacon cheeseburger and a small ice water. the best part of everything was the ice water. the Jr bacon cheeseburger was cold, the bacon over cooked and hard, the chili was barely warm, I took it back to the counter and asked if they could warm it because it was barely warm. they said ok and when I got it back it was still barely warm. The only thing the Manteno Wendy's does well is getting your order wrong. Our host today was Dominic. Part of our take out order was a Grilled Asiago Chicken Club with no tomato and no lettuce. What we got was a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with tomato and lettuce. My advice to Dominic is to pay attention to your customer. Ordering "fast food" should not be this difficult.
I am LOVING the new breakfast items! Potato wedges are crispy, slightly peppery, and delicious. Biscuits and gravy are superb. Chicken biscuit w honey butter is great. Croissants are yummy. Definitely a MUST TRY for fresh egg lovers who are looking for a better option than the usual chains offer.
