17th Street Barbecue Reviews
Servers were confused. Overheard many other tables complaining about wait times. Gave my kids cheeseburgers when they ordered chicken tenders. Waitress brought some out in under 2 minutes, and I thought 'no way'. I opened them with a fork..... raw as raw gets. Decided to break the burgers in half, raw as raw gets. Glad my kids didn't eat the food! Place will be shut down in less than 5 years.
Over priced, rude staff. Terrible food. $30 for an alcoholic beverage priced $8-12 anywhere else. Save yourself the time, money & grief. Spend your money **anywhere** else in Marion. KB's BBQ 1301 E Main St. Polite, caring staff, that will make an effort - 100x the effort of 17th Street BBQ. Spend your money at a restaurant that is worth your while!!!
Menu
17th Street Barbecue offers a variety of mouth-watering dishes, from soft brisket to delicious ribs and pulled pork. The fried pickles are a must-try, and the service is friendly and timely. While some may find the BBQ sauces on the tangy side, the overall dining experience is enjoyable. However, there have been some recent issues with food quality and service, possibly due to being short-staffed. Despite this, the manager handled the situation well by offering a discount. The restaurant is known for outstanding service and delicious food, with standout dishes like the 1/2 chicken, pork shoulder, smoked turkey, and mac & cheese. Overall, 17th Street Barbecue is a great spot to enjoy a tasty meal and excellent service.
