We thought we had found our new favorite spot to eat in Mattoon... until today. There was a roach in our Vegetarian Fajitas. Irony? We stopped eating, notified management, they didn't charge us. We left. Perhaps if everyone wasn't always on their phones they could be more aware of this going on.

Had a very good experience. Our service was great! Food was excellent! Haven’t been there in awhile, seemed like there were a lot of new workers that weren’t there last time we went. Last time we went service was awful. This time it was great!

Food was okay we have had better. Their hot sauce is not good at all they changed it from the old one that was really good. Had family come from all over to eat here, but tonight meal was our last meal there don't believe will be going back nothing really separates them from anyother Mexican place. Bo reason to drive 35 mi to eat.

I use to eat don sol all the time before I moved away from illinois...I absolutely loved it, and the energy the waiters/waitresses brought. I couldn't wait to celebrate my sons birthday there today..but we felt rushed even after two tables that came in after us got their food before us. Then they sped through my sons happy birthday. Just a little disappointed.

We are traveling from AZ and stopped here about an hour before closing. They gave us excellent customer service, our server and all the workers were so kind. Delicious food!! Got the steak chimichanga and chicken enchiladas. Very nice inside and loved the outdoor seating.
