Every visit to Land and Lake Cafe has been outstanding since their recent opening The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always top-notch.

A special thank you to Tiffany,Gaby and Angela , for their exceptional leadership and genuine hospitality. They always make their guests feel welcome and goe above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly set the standard.

Kudos to LM Restaurant Group ownership for creating another wonderful restaurant and for having enormous leaders . I highly recommend Land and Lake Cafe to anyone looking for excellent food and outstanding service. Looking forward to my next visit!

On Sunday, July 12 I shared one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever tasted - Chicago style hash. The beef was perfectly cooked, very tasty potatoes, and the inclusion of a chopped poblano pepper gave the dish a prefect kick of hot. Highly recommend!

We were excited to try this location. The caesar wrap had no caesar dressing. My fries were cold as were my wife's home fries. No biscuits on the menu. Really disappointed overall.

This is on the other side of the hotel. This under the same group as Evanston Corner Bistro (see our review on that). I had a muffin and orange juice. The staff and service are excellent.

Meal of the Day Cafe is *the* hidden gem in Eisenhower Tower!

Like OMG, so this hidden gem is located in the office building I work in. And the ambiance of the Cafe is surreal. The African art is soo memorizing. There is soo much gorgeous art and statues, photos, decor that you think you're in a museum. The owner was an absolute sweetheart. I'll go back just to be in his company and chat. I tried the catfish with some potatoes and slaw. Everything was amazing. The slaw was my favorite. I also tried the preach cobbler which was delicious. Highly recommended this Cafe if you're ever in the area. It's such a beautiful cultural experience, can't wait to go back. Give this man all your money!!!!

My Fraternity Brother Anthony Williams and partner Byron Diggs when not bringing great joy as a part of the Our Lady of Our Lady of Africa Parish, Chicago Eucharistic Ensemble have a great Cafe in Maywood right off of I 290. It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290. It is appointed with some great art from notable black artists . There is also a banner from Hales Franciscan Class of 1979 , not sure what that’ s all about .. lol! They also do on site catering and have fed the masses after masses at their home church . Check them out ! My fraternity brother has been telling me for years to make the drive and wifey and I finally did and it was so worth it ! .
