Like OMG, so this hidden gem is located in the office building I work in. And the ambiance of the Cafe is surreal. The African art is soo memorizing. There is soo much gorgeous art and statues, photos, decor that you think you're in a museum. The owner was an absolute sweetheart. I'll go back just to be in his company and chat. Wonderful cafe with delicious food, beautiful views and incredible service! Byron and Anthony have created such a welcoming and vibrant environment at Meal of the Day Cafe. We highly recommend them!
My Fraternity Brother Anthony Williams and partner Byron Diggs when not bringing great joy as a part of the Our Lady of Our Lady of Africa Parish, Chicago Eucharistic Ensemble have a great Cafe in Maywood right off of I 290.
It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290.
