“Sooo, my 5yo and I are still waiting on food, and I must say, Becca is the shitttt! She's a BEAST for real! Great energy and funny! I haven't had fish dry here in like 15yrs and I get to enjoy it with my son now. I can't wait to have that and those potato pancakes 😍 I'm sure everything will taste amazing! I had to give this girl a shout out, I'm almost vreaking a sweat for her running up and down those stairs! “Stumbled upon this place after being a bit disappointed with my bubble tea from another place in the area. I loved the energy from the moment I walked in! The coffee smell is just enough to make you crave a blanket and a good book, the staff were friendly and inviting, plus I wasn't disappointed with my iced chai! 10/10 would - and definitely will - return.”

“I just had the lovely experience sitting with a family friend for coffee. I got a lavender bloom and it was by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. I love coffee. It tasted like coffee and the perfect amount of sweet. If you know you know. There were rocking chairs on the porch that were occupied when I arrived but the back seating was intimate and comfy. The walls are lined with local artist exhibits for sale. I have my eyes on one that I plan to purchase when I come back. I look forward to buying more delicious coffee and to see what new Art is displayed. This place gets it. A part of the reemergence if you will. I wish for this place to stay authentic and hope they get just enough business but not too much if you know what I mean. It is a diamond in the rough. It needs to be beloved and protected. “I took my boys here on a Saturday at around 4:30 after a trip to the Volo museum. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The appetizer plate had the best onion rings and these creamy smoky bacon Gouda Mac n cheese bites that were to die for! Pan pizza came out as a deep dish and my teenager loved it. My oldest and I got the rib and broasted chicken combo…. OMG No regrets! The chicken was seasoned well with a delicious, crispy, light breading and the ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious with a perfect smoky/sweet bbq sauce. Do NOT skip the peach cobbler!! The warm, crispy peaches and streusel topping tasted like it was made with love. What a great place and we absolutely love our server. She was engaging and knew the menu. Will definitely return!”

“Where do I begin? Welcoming atmosphere, clean restaurant, and attentive service. I'm not a margarita fan, but I thoroughly enjoy my strawberry margarita and would enjoy again! My fiancé ordered salsa and chips for an appetizer and we were both happily surprised with the fresh chips and tasty green salsa! After enjoying our appetizer we both ordered their three taco dinner special for taco Tuesday. My fiancé order steak tacos and I ordered a combination of chicken tinga, chorizo, and their house special campechano. Everything was amazing!!! My fiancé enjoys the spicier salsas and was offered a habenero red salsa. We sampled all three that was received and have nothing but good things to say about them all. Thank you for an amazing dinning experience tonight, can't wait to come back and enjoy a new dish in the near future! ☺️🌮🌯”

“We have been going here for a while. The other breakfast places around here are nothing compared to whistle stop. The food is always fresh, hot, friendly professional staff and every guest is treated the same which makes us feel comfortable and wecome. I have not had one bad dish everything is great. Giant Homemade Bun, Thick Thick Sliced ham My French Toast was Great (Homemade bread), the little fat Sausages were cooked perfectly, the only negative for me and it really isn’t a negative is they had breakfast potatoes rather than hashbrowns (they do have them during the week, just not on weekends) Definitely worth the drive and the wait. You won’t leave here hungry but you will leave with a to go container.”

The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Was lucky enough to work for my grandpa there while in middle school. Great to see some of the original things that have been kept. We will be back next time we visit.”
