This is an easy 5 stars, without even thinking. If you're anywhere close on a Sunday their buffet is probably the best in Southern Illinois. I haven't been to all of them so maybe shouldn't say that but can confidently say it's in top 5 and probably is the best. They commonly have ham, meatloaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, baked beans, green beans, and on and on in the buffet. Plus has a salad bar and dessert bar that both comes with it! My daughter's and their daughters and one's husband and my Momma ate at Farris's Family Restaurant, today. Everyone enjoyed the food and had so much fun with each other. The employees were great! We really appreciate everything. Thank you so much for the hospitality and the patience!

Cute, small, home town restaurant.We looked at the menu before coming and it listed a salad bar, however it wasn't open when we arrived, but they did make us a great salad upon request.Was a bit noisy, hard to hear people at our own table. We had 3 adults and 2 children order and our bill was $60 so average cost.They do not take cards! So have cash.The food was pretty standard. Friendly staff.
