“Every summer for 5 years now, we've driven from Missouri to meet my husband's sister and mom, who come down from Wisconsin. Cindy's is the halfway point, where we "exchange custody" of his mom for a few weeks. The service is great, food is great as well. Meeting at Cindy's every summer has become tradition!”

“We drove to Mendota to visit a museum that had a section dedicated to Wild Bill Hickock. After that we began to look for a local food place to have lunch. We stopped to ask someone who was on their porch, and they said we should try Parkway. My grandson and I loved the place. Such friendly people working there. I asked our waitress if they were all family, because they all looked they could be, haha. She said they were a family. Grandson ordered a big hamburger meal and I chose the pork tenderloin. He was happy with his meal, and I must say the tenderloin was not only big, it was so very delicious. One of the best I have ever eaten. Not sure when we will get back to Mendota, but when we do I know where we will have a meal. God bless this family.”

“We had my sisters graduation dinner there tonight and we had one server for the 40 of us and she was amazing!!! Literally just kept her cool and was super great with the kids which is literally a god send most servers get stressed with little kids n she was a champ. I love the atmosphere and the food can’t say anything negitive about the food!!!!”

I was in town on business and looking for a healthy option when I stumbled upon Purpose Nutrition—and what a gem this place is! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who happened to be working at the time. Not only was she incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also insightful about both the local area and the next place I was headed.

As we chatted, I noticed a steady stream of repeat customers coming in for their daily drinks and uplifting conversations. It was clear this place is more than just a business—it’s a community hub. I love seeing locals support something with so much positive energy and purpose behind it. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re ever in the area!”

“The last few times I've been here I've gotten great service. Once was a young girl still being trained but she did awesome. Wish I caught her name, very friendly and helpful. Today it was (apologies if spelled wrong) Tristan I believe. He did fantastic! Please give the guy who worked 4.6 at around 3:30 pm CST a raise! He was working very hard and was literally the best customer service ever.

I work as a supervisor for a customer service call center and I would've stolen him from you all in a heartbeat if we had an opening. IDC if he doesn't want a promotion to go with it, PAY HIM MORE. He handled the hectic situation of my order like a champ and did it with a smile.”

The flavor variety is outstanding, all ice cream and Popsicles are handmade in house. tried the shakes and Popsicles, will be going back for sure. if you're reading this and want something different and actually ICE CREAM stop in and try this place out. you won't be disappointed.”
