“My husband Jack and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary tonight, and on a last minute whim he chose Bella Mia. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I had to write this review immediately. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by Gina, the bartender, who was extremely attentive and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The owner, Randy, came by to greet us and his personality was truly infectious. He had us laughing nonstop and made our night even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to Marcy and Dick, regulars who have been coming since day one. Even though this was our very first visit, we felt like part of the Bella Mia family. From the staff to the clientele, the love and pride behind this place are undeniable. Bella Mia is truly one of a kind and deserves all the recognition it receives. “We had the best experience at Seasons 52 Our whole time there was wonderful and our server was so attentive to our table. The food was delish, appetizers were so yummy and we all had different entrees. My filet mignon was cooked perfect. We had a wonderful evening. Thank You, Renee“

“I absolutely love this place. The portions are big and the flavor is even bigger. If your looking for amazing food with good pricing and large portions this is your spot. The only thing I can slightly complain about is service and the fact the waiter wasn't very happy and clearly expressed her emotional displeasure. I understand there was probably a personal reason behind this and everyone has bad days so im not going to hold that against her. The food the quality and basically everything else was so amazing I would still give this place a 10 star review even if it had the worst service ever.“

“Went it for a loaded Bloody Mary. It was great. The people seemed really friendly (employees and customers)
The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. I would love to see this place get an over haul because it was great potential with the nice staff and great customers. Very very very welcoming!!“

“Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“

“We had our Christmas Dinner there. It is a very nice venue for our family to enjoy food, fun and bonding time. This is not a restaurant so they do not serve food, however there was ample space to bring your spread and lay it out beautifully. The ambiance was great and there was plenty of room. Also, ample parking and the venue was easy to find. It was my first time there and I would definitely enjoy returning there in the future.“

“We were a pretty large group with tons of kids under 5. Everyone was so kind to us and our kiddos. The food was delish as were the drinks! We had a minor hiccup with in the group and management was MORE THAN gracious and kind in fixing / making up for it.“

“We feasted here, big time! Flavorful, elevated dishes and really interesting and unique cocktails. We also had good choices of wine. My favorite dish was a tie between the perfectly-done steak fries and the yummy succotash scallops. Good sauces with the grilled shrimp. Our table also indulged in the menu specials. No complaints, no notes. Everything was solid.“

“First time here and we had a great experience. Had wine tasting and a delicious meal served by a wonderful waitress. They have beautiful glass ware in the store as well as delicious wines to purchase. We will definitely come back again.“

“I have only been to this restaurant once. From the outside it looks like its barely hanging on. It needs some sprucing on the outside. The interior though is classic and traditional. It has an interior that Bronzeville's Pearls Place could really use and space that Valois in Hyde Park really needs. I can also recall how good the pancakes were. I can't say much about anything else. It's been a while. My hope is that they could clean up and modernize the outside. For this they may need an infusion of cash. I believe the outside is where the business falls off a bit I mean you wouldn't even think it was open for business. Its the only place worth eating at in the whole 8th ward. The area is filled with junk food options and it's a shame. I will be back soon.“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! “Did a staycation for NYE and had brunch at South Side Social. The mimosas weren't bad and the buffet was somewhat limited. I want to visit again because their lunch/dinner meal has some appeal. They provide the food for the bar and the pizza and Buffalo shrimp were very good! We had extra cheese on the pizza but it wasn't necessary as the toppings were hearty and tasty. No food pics this time but I do want to revisit.“

“I like this place-we came at 8:20 pm for a half hour or so of fun. Quick and simple. Ten minutes after arriving we were harassed about them closing at 8:50 pm. Website says 9. Literally reminded maybe ten times no exaggeration about them closing. We didn’t want to redeem tickets just play a few games. Very frustrating and ruined our short quick fun for my kid.“

“I had a birthday party on 8/29/2024 at Privilege. It was simply amazing. I just love how the staff are so pleasant and engage with the customers. The entire vibe was amazing. Maurice is great to work with when scheduling events. The venue is very clean. They now have a outdoor area for people which looks beautiful. The food was delicious. My guests raved about Privilege. “I came twice on two separate occasions and the food was excellent both times. I’ve only had an Italian beef, and mozzarella sticks from here. The mozzarella sticks were ok, but they were cold when they got to me so I haven’t tried them fresh from the store. The Italian beefs never disappoint. I only come for a beef when I want a good one.“

The sandwich was packed with juicy steak, onions, peppers, and gooey cheese—no skimping here. Fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. If you're on the South Side and craving a solid cheesesteak, Tony's is the move.“

“Friendly and informative staff. It is a single table inside if you want to eat real quick. Food came out within 15 mins. They offer salad instead of fries. I enjoyed the jambalaya, it comes with a yellow rice. My husband enjoyed the chopped cheese. Will be back to try other items. Good vibes here and clean.“
