We stopped in here a few times while in Monmouth. It's in downtown and is a obviously a local hot spot. We recognized some of the same people during each visit. Some were nice, some seemed a tad territorial. That even included some of the staff. We noticed that some of the beer was expired. Deceptively disguised as a run down little hole in the wall bar, The Bijou offers an amazing selection of burgers fit for a 5 star restaurant! Their burgers are creative and delicious! I don't know why this place isn't more well known or why I didn't learn of it sooner! I will definitely be going back!

We held a celebration of life party here for my cousin. They were great. They had table cloths and a place for drinks. They even put his name and a message on the Marquee. It was very reasonably priced and a very large space. We easily had a 100 people there and it didn't seem crowded. I would definitely go here for another event.
