Looking for a place for lunch In Monmouth and found this gem. The staff was very friendly and the food tasted fresh and authentic. The chicken Mexican style tacos were delicious. Give this place a try...you won't regret it.
Whoah! Mexican seafood in Monmouth? You bet, buttercup. The menu is full of fantastic sounding choices, which meant I had to spend a half an hour trying to decide where to start! There are things on this menu that you may not find in any other Mexican Restaurant in West Central IL. The restaurant's name is El Navegante now and been there a few times since the new owners took over. Never been disappointed by the food or their service! Honestly, Aurora was serving the last time I went in for some steak fajitas, which were delicious and seasoned perfectly, and she did a really good job making sure I was taken care of!
