“I'm Mexican and my husband is American, we both were so pleased and happy trying this taquería! Staring from the nice service, tortillas flavor are the best around! The salsas are super fresh, tasty and with different levels of spicy, tortilla chips comes nicely warm. For the second time trying this taquería is the best so far! The first time I tried cecina tacos and not there best, the beef was sadly a coin size and meh flavor, however the second time we tried: birria, lengua and carnitas! Really tasty and fair enough. Our fav taquería!!“
“The restaurant's name is El Navegante now and been there a few times since the new owners took over. Never been disappointed by the food or their service! Honestly, Aurora was serving the last time I went in for some steak fajitas, which were delicious and seasoned perfectly, and she did a really good job making sure I was taken care of!“

“My husband and I drive over from Galesburg(15-20 mins) for the best Mexican you can get. We love this place. Aurora and family always stop to say hi and have a chat with us. The queso I thunk is house made and AMAZING. Tried places in Galesburg and they just don't compete. If you want Mexican, come here. I always get the supremo fajita nachos that come with steak, chicken, and shrimp and almost always need 2 boxes to bring my food home.“

“WOW! The main meals at this Mexican restaurant were out of this world good! We stopped by this location on Sunday during Black Friday weekend on our way back home. Even though the location is small and the salsa for the chips had very little flavor.....the service and main meal we ordered were some of the best tasting Mexican dishes we have ever had!“
