went here for lunch the other day and was the opposite of disappointed. they claim to be the best in town, and by God, they weren't lying. the food was absolutely delectable, the environment is clean, comfortable and cozy, and the service was top tier. the lady that served us was fantastic, very quick to get us what we needed and very friendly. if you're put off by the prices at all, let me just tell you it's 1000% worth it. that $15 chimichanga you get will be the best use of $15 you'll make all week. not only was it delicious, but the portions are generous, and as an added bonus, it reheats well. not that they can exactly control that, but I was really happy to discover it. if I wasn't just passing through town, I'd be eating here every week. highly recommend.

My husband and I drive over from Galesburg(15-20 mins) for the best Mexican you can get. We love this place. Aurora and family always stop to say hi and have a chat with us. The queso I thunk is house made and AMAZING. Tried places in Galesburg and they just don't compete. If you want Mexican, come here. I always get the supremo fajita nachos that come with steak, chicken, and shrimp and almost always need 2 boxes to bring my food home.

A hidden jewel in Monmouth, off the beaten path you have to plan to go there. As it is not on a main street you'll need to search for it, once you do you'll be glad you did. The menu is very extensive, the drinks and the food are top notch. We travel quite a way to go there sure wish it was closer. Give it a try, you won't regret it.
