“I really like Godfathers pizza. Maybe because it’s a childhood nostalgia thing. This is the closest location to me so I stop whenever I have a chance. The employees are nice and they do a pretty good job keeping up with customers. One of the employees even gave me spider plant starters.“

“Nothing bad to say about this place. Didn't have the pizza yet but will be stopping back for it. We had the Italian beef because of what we had heard of them, and a meatball sandwich. The Italian beef was amazing, came out a crusty sub roll and looked simple, not like a roll stuffed with meat and soaked in au jus, but took that first bite without even dipping in the juice and wow the flavor was amazing. Add in the densely flavored au jus and it just got better. The meatball sandwich was also really good, the marinara to dip was great. My wife said the meatballs reminded her of SpaghettiOs's and Meatballs, meatballs but in a really good way she said. I just thought they were really good in general.There was just the owner working when we were there and she was nothing but friendly, and had great customer service. Will definitely be back to try the pizza.“

“Catered a surprise baby shower for our boss at work. Placing the order was a breeze, they deliver as well which was nice for us. The driver was on time and communication was clear when he arrived. Wings we ordered were a HIT! The food over all was great, we’ll definitely order again in the future.“

“The pizza pub is smaller than what it looks like from the outside. Which isn't a bad thing. It is nice and cozy there. The bar is full, the waitresses is nice and friendly, and the music was great! When I went there, they didn't play any of the modern stuff that most places do.The pizza on the other hand was pretty good. I enjoyed it quite a bit with my amazing girlfriend. The medium pepperoni pizza hit the spot and was just right for two people.I would definitely get a pizza from there again.“

“While visiting my friend and her grandchildren in Freeport traveling from Chicago, our plans were to visit Rockford and have lunch. Googled the top pizza restaurants and Doug Bros was noted. Reviews were excellent and decided to go yesterday and was so happy we made the decision to try this pizza. The sausage pizza was absolutely delicious!!!!!! Would highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends! The wait staff was very friendly too!“

“What a great experience. I just stopped for a fill up but the smell of the food inside made me slow down. I stopped and glazed over the food ever so hungry. And it was the fresh hot pizza ? that I went with .and yup great choice. I highly recommend it. I did notice public restrooms, wheelchair parking and how clean the establishment was. A plus was the very friendly staff.“

“Okay, the vibe is that of a bar with slot machines and darts, and most of the food is typical bar fare. BUT. There are a couple Indian food choices on the menu; carryovers from when the owner was trying to fuse Indian food with a tavern atmosphere. That's what I ate, and let me tell you, the Indian food the owner made for me was well worth the trip. It was phenomenal. The owner was also great to talk to; I came at a weird time and the place was mostly empty, so we had a nice long conversation while I ate at the bar. He owns a full Indian restaurant out in the suburbs, which I fully intend to go to the next time I'm in town.If the food I ate was any indication, I'm sure the more "traditional" bar fare is delicious, too, but I just need it to be known that this place unexpectedly delighted me!“
