Bought the wienerschnitzel it was very good! My date had the Mac and cheese, she said it was tasty. Enjoyed our evening listening to the polka band! I would say that the patio seems to be the place to sit on a normal summer evening.

Very cool old building with a lot of history. Beautiful outdoor patio/dining overlooking Fox River. The pretzel bites were good. My dinner companions all enjoyed their meals - they stuck with burgers/sandwiches. I ordered the weinerschnitzel. They have a placard advertising Schnitzel Sundays so I was expecting some amazing schnitzel. NOPE! It was disgusting. The mystery meat was drowned in a BBQ sauce with canned mushrooms and barely visable spatzel and burnt bits of who knows...

Intimate Irish bar with crazy good German food options. They aren’t shy with the pour for mixed drinks, and the prices are reasonable.

They had live music the night we were there, and it was really above average and quite enjoyable. Absolutely will return to explore more of the drinks and menu. Dinner and drinks ran about 44 dollars per person, but we chose from some of the more expensive items.
