Charley's Cheesesteaks is a popular restaurant known for its decent pricing and convenient location inside the TA travel center. While the cleanliness and quality of the food are generally good, some customers have experienced issues with the staff's attention to detail, such as forgetting to include extra toppings like mushrooms. Despite these occasional lapses, the restaurant remains a reliable choice for travelers and locals alike.
Customers appreciate the friendly employees and the nice vibe of the place. The food, while not earth-shattering, is satisfying, and the portions are generous for a fair price. The OldSchool Cheesesteak, with options for extra toppings like provolone and mayo, is a popular choice, alongside other menu items like chicken cheesesteaks and fries with various toppings.
There is a small seating area with three tables for those who want to eat in, and the service is generally quick, with meals prepared in about six minutes. Charley's Cheesesteaks is a great stop for a hearty meal, especially for those looking for unique food options in the area.
