If they had zero stars or negative stars, that would be more appropriate. I went to the drive through, as I do twice a month with my kids on our way to therapy in Bloomington, and "ali" who claims to be the manager was incredibly rude to us again. I first asked for 3 cheese fries. She squared back " we dont have chilli cheese fries!" I said no 3 cheese fries. She yells back at me "I dont need you to scream in my ear!" I was thinking really?! So I finish ordering, drive around and ali takes my $. She proceeds to tell me if I'm going to be rude to leave! I'm like you just took my money! I was like give me my money back. Ali is pushy, rude, unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed to interact with customers. Whoever made her a manager needs their head examined. They always get our order wrong and their food is cold. I will never visit that location again. I can get our food in Bloomington where they're professional and friendly!

Google review needs an option for 0 star or negative star.... this place is terrible.... just went to drive thru and the fries were ice cold... sandwiches taste like eating a mouth full of salt and the soda taste flat... absolutely the worst food experience I have ever had... to top it off get the girl at window a new shirt.... she was covered in something red from shoulder to shoulder and all on the front... lost my appetite the second I saw her and wanted to drive off but my wife wanted to eat here... looked like she had raw blood from meat or ketchup on her entire white shirt... absolutely disgusted with this place... steak n shake should just close all their store they are worthless anymore...

The drive through had a long wait so I went inside to get a drink as that is all I wanted. I was told that large drinks are only available for drive through customers & that my only option was a medium. I paid almost 3 bucks for 10 sips of soda that I had to make myself. So dumb & I won't be back.

They now close at 10 pm!! Drove all the way there to find out they are closed! The other ones in the area stay open til midnight! I am a second shift worker so staying open later than 10 would be convenient!

My food never showed up to my house was supposed to be delivered at 730 and never showed up tried calling got hung up several times ect my order was alot of money to not be replaced very upset with your store my kids didn't get there's and I spent my last 60 bucks for nothing at

Avoid the Morton, IL location. Something has changed. Had a really bad experience here today. I ordered food in the drive-thru, got the wrong order, and asked them to correct it. Without a word, they took it back, made a new one, and shocked everyone in the car when they pretty much threw it out the window to us. I called to speak to the manager, got put on hold, and disconnected. I called back to share the experience with the manager, after which she lectured me for calling back and hung up again when I asked her name. Long story short, the people who work here hate everything and everyone, and the food tasted really off. Not typical for this type of restaurant. The hamburger buns were hard, the burgers were salty, and the experience was bad enough never to go back. Avoid the Morton location. They don't even deserve a 1 star.

MR “MR.Hamilton” Hamilton

This place is trash and so are its employees. Went In today ordered our food at 12:30. Paid for food 12:40 per our receipt from the window.We were told 15 minutes of waiting. food ticket didn’t hit the screen until 1:00 per the grill slip shoved in our bag. I went in the door at 1:04 after 3-4 different vehicles went around us and completed their orders and was looked up and down by the poorly groomed grill dude who told me “you were told 15 minutes” with an attitude then turns around and whispers to the manager. the manager says “ we told you at the window 15 minutes.” By the time I went inside I had already been waiting 24 minutes. I told them to change their attitudes and walk back to my car. 3 minutes later our bags are brought and the manager in the orange glasses with the horrible attitude told me I was “Banned from this store.” As she cowardly walked back into the store without examining why? This place is horrible and ban customers for their bad treatment? I won’t be back.

I don't even see how this place is in business!! I had never been here before, or to any Steak and Shake restaurant anywhere... and since this experience, I will definitely never be wasting my money here again. I felt like an idiot because I had to order my food for my kiosk because there was no person up front to even take orders from here. I mean, "None"... I did not know where to even pick up my food from. They acted like they didn't know what I was talking about after finally being noticed by an employee walking around in the back. She had to send someone else out to the counter to see what I needed when I just wanted to see where to pick up my order at. They've got like four counters. There's just so much more that I could just write all day but I just don't have time. The Dr Pepper was out of syrup, and you only get a limited amount of soda with your order. You have to scan a part of the receipt that they give you with a QR code on it to even get your drink yourself at the drink dispenser. And since it had ran out when I got mine I never even got a drink because no one would come up front. Everything was greasy. The shake was really good. I'll give them that one... after disposing of my trash and waiting to give the glass back I finally just ended up taking the glass with me because I didn't know what to do with it. There was no paper towels anywhere. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. There were no napkins in the dispensers. There was like two or three packets of seasoning or anything else in the small unstocked trays. An elderly woman spilled her drink and couldn't even get a refill because no one would pay attention to her and then had nothing to clean it up with. She looked highly frustrated with her husband and it was ridiculous that no one would even give her anything to clean it up with or acknowledge her existence for that matter. As it is right now this place needs to be closed down and retrain the employees about customer service and just service in general. This place is a disgrace to any fast food chain let alone its own franchised name. This is the longest review I've ever given and hopefully this is my last. But somebody's got to do something about this place. I would give negative Stars if I could. SMH

No wonder this place is usually dead and on the brink of going out of business. My fault for overpaying for garbage and inconsistency. This time there were barely any fries with the burger and I asked politely about it and let the guy know this was not the correct amount of fries. It was visibly not the right amount..he just shrugs at me and walks away and doesn't try to fix the problem. Definitely will not come back here, that is if this place even stays open much longer.

They did their best to avoid eye contact when i was trying to get help in fixing my order, Also there was a middle school cheer team in here and the restaurant staff was very rude to them.

The food was great! The reason for the 3 star is they have switched to a kiosk only system. Which I’m not a fan of. At 49 yrs I’m kinda old fashioned. You couldn’t operate the drink machine without scanning your bar code. The tables weren’t filthy, but hadn’t been attended to in awhile. Most had crumbs of some sort. There were two of us and we were the only two in the dining area. It felt like our food should just be spit out a machine. No interaction until food was delivered. And then none after that. If your into Jetsons still dining, this might be for you. Again the food was good, just not my idea of a relaxing dining experience.

Tried to order a fresco melt without fresco sauce, cannot be done via kiosk. Workers short staffed and coukd not make a fresco melt without the sauce.

I absolutely love Steak n Shake. The burgers, the fries, the chili. I hate using a kiosk to place my order, which is now mandatory. And you have to scan your receipt to activate the soda dispenser, which is a system I have never seen before and a total hassle. I was unable to get a refill due to this.

Was at Steak 'n Shake in morton . Went to drive up they wouldnt take my order .said they only had 2 workers . I told them i was on lunch and needed to place my order they said it would be awhile. Nobody else was in sight , no other customers. So i went in and ask for the manager. She said she was the Manger but wouldnt tell me her name. I'm Old and don't know how to use the kiofk. They wouldn't help me with it. Told her i had only so much time. Said i just want a humberger and she said we don't take orders unless there on the kiofk. She only had two workers . So i ask if it takes two workers to flip a hamberger. She told me to get out. She was screaming GET OUT..What the hell. I never been so mad that i knocked the to go order styrofoam off the counter. Shouldn't have done that. But i was getting kicked out because i couldnt work the Kiofk. She was screaming GET OUT Never been treated like that ever . Where is comsumer service at . ???? No wonder Steak and Shake Getting a bad reputation. Wow I still cant believe it ,
