I had another fruit-licious pie from The Confectionery today. This time I opted for a mini cherry pie. I'm not sure why...strictly speaking, I'm an apple or pumpkin pie girl. The cherry pie was staring at me, in the display case, saying bite me. So I did and I'm not mad about it. In fact, I was quite delighted with this delicious, slightly tart piece of heaven. Went in and got 3 yummy packages of cookies. The checker had a sweet smile and a very pleasant and kind personality! There are many stores that could learn customer service skills from this young lady! Thank you for providing super baked goods AND super customer service!

This review is specific to the change in doughnuts. All of their in house baked goods are 5 star.

The Confectionery recently switched from getting their doughnuts from Tadoughs to Dennys doughnuts. The doughnuts from Dennys are Mid at best. You can get almost the same doughnuts at a gas station like caseys.

To the owners: Please bring back Tadoughs, I would rather pay more for amazing doughnuts. The cheap replacement you got from Dennys is...
