Very good authentic Mexican restaurant located north of O'Hare airport. It was walking distance from my airport hotel (Best Western O'Hare North) and was an unexpected pleasant find. Gratis authentic Corn ships with two types of homemade salsa are served as you arrive where I followed that up with a very tasty large Margarita ($11) and a large El Pastor burrito ($11) which was very good in its own right. The facility itself is clean with a nice Mexican decor and the staff is super friendly, with quick service, nice follow up and an ever present smiling face. So nice to see happy faces versus the dour faces I see too often at some of the restaurants I frequent. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable meal where nibbling on well made chips and salsa and washing it down with a excellent Margarita is hard to beat in my book! I definately will be looking this business up the next time I fly out of O'Hare.

It's a small dining area but the food is worth it. The chips and salsa. The green salsa is so good!! You can get half pints to-go.The Marisol items are delicious.My favorite is the tacos de lengua and taco de cabeza. (Which is rare to find in the burbs usually, and taste good)The caldos are great too! For sure stock, since it gelatins when cold, that's good soup!!!!!Plus side, they have alcohol for those days you want a meal with a refresher.Service is always great ?
Pay attention to your food and how it is served. My wife and I ordered sopa de res / beef soup and found a dead roach. Who knows how long the soup was left unattended for. It had to be a different cook because we never had issues like this before. They need to fumigate the entire place and check to make sure no more

I love the shrimp tacos here ? very good ?ribeye steak tacos were so tender and flavorful. It hit the spot!Kid-friendliness: Chairs for toddler's to eat at the tables, diaper change bed in the bathroom ready.
