⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best ramen bowls I’ve ever had! The broth was packed with such a rich, tasteful flavor and the spice level was absolutely perfect—not too mild, not overwhelming, just right. The toppings were fresh and well-balanced, and pairing it with rice made the whole meal even more satisfying. Definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone craving authentic and flavorful ramen!

They have several different Ramens for vegetarian, which is great. Usually, at other stores, there's only one.
I've tried all their vegetarian ramen styles, and they are all fantastic. The Ise style is my favorite, it has a deep umami flavor and is quite delicious with spicy miso paste. The Tokyo style one is a bit lighter, and hints of sweetness. The Hokkaido one is quite rich and flavorful. This is overall my favorite ramen place in the Chicago Metro.
There's plenty of individual seating as well as few tables. The service is very quick, I only had to wait a few minutes to get my bowl. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

One of the long standing ramen shops in Chicago. I used to come here quite often, but with so many ramen places popping up these days, I haven’t visited as much. I came back because of a golf event, and the whole restaurant had a musty smell, with the tables feeling a bit sticky. Still, the ramen tasted just the same as before. It feels like ramen shops are starting to become more average overall, which is a bit disappointing.
This is hands down the best ramen I’ve had in Chicago — and I’ve tried a lot. At first, you might not expect much. The place is small, a bit unassuming, and doesn’t have the flashy look of trendy spots downtown. But once the food hits the table, everything changes.
The broth is on another level — deep, rich, and clearly made with hours (if not days) of simmering. Every spoonful packs flavor. The noodles have the perfect chew, the chashu pork is tender and melts in your mouth, and the marinated egg is done exactly right with a creamy center. Every component feels intentional, balanced, and authentic.
It’s obvious they care more about quality than appearances — and honestly, that’s what makes it special. The focus is entirely on delivering a great bowl of ramen, and they absolutely succeed. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere, while simple, feels cozy and honest.
If you’re a ramen lover, skip the trendy Instagram spots and come here. It’s a hidden gem — and 100% worth it.
