“I almost always have a good experience at my local Subway. Today, I put in an online order, waited, and went to pick it up as soon as it said “Ready”. The kid behind the counter hadn’t even started the order. There was only 1 car in the drive thru and a family eating. No biggie. I left and got other groceries while I waited. Went back, it was ready. Sandwich wasn’t toasted, but was great on all other aspects. Well, I just sat down to eat the second half of my sandwich, and I bit into a small sharp piece of plastic. I’m not mad, just “huh”. I work in the restaurant industry and it happens. Main point of this post: Be mindful of order timing, prep area tidiness, and pay extra attention to materials. Trust me, not the weirdest thing to happen.“
