So it was Christmas Eve, and Dover Straits must've had reservations galore! Ours were at 6:30 but we didnt get seated until 7:15 but the bar is the best and we had no trouble just hanging out there. Once we got seated Susie took care of us and we had the best meal. Highly recommend, will be back.
Really enjoyed our evening! We had a 6pm reservation and were promptly seated. Hosts were extremely kind and gracious….the service was a 10/10 all night.
Water was always filled, dirty plates promptly taken away, waitress was very attentive, and the food was delicious. Excellent quality and I would recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work as many restaurants these days do not offer the whole package in terms of good food and good service. They run a tight ship here...

I surprised my mom and her husband for her birthday and called Dover Straits in Mundelein, IL to see if I could pre-pay for their dinner as a surprise. I spoke with (I believe) the owner, who was so accommodating and kind! He took my mom’s name, a description, and my credit card info, and assured me everything would be taken care of.
