I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix dish for takeout. The description sounded great: fresh shrimp, chunks of chicken, bok choy, mushrooms, snow pea pods, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the expectations.

The prices are reasonable, but the food is just average for Chinese-American takeout. I ordered Singapore Mei Fun, and it barely had any shrimp or pork, only a few pieces of each. The curry flavor was weak, and it wasn't spicy at all. However, it was extremely sweet, as was the hot and sour soup I ordered, which had an excessive level of sweetness. We’ve been searching for an above average Chinese takeout restaurant and gave this spot a try…and we will continue our search. Nothing special here. Egg rolls had a nice crust but we’re under filled with a tasteless vegetable mush. The mu shu chicken was mostly cabbage and some slivers of chicken, again with no flavor.
