I love coming to this bar!! Every Thursday they switch the Tap!! TAP TAKEOVER and omg the beers are amazing. They also have live music, came to see Frank liston Music, he was amazing and added to the atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. Food is okay but overall the atmosphere is where it's at!! Come for Tap Takeovers!

Went there a few weeks ago with my husband. Sat at the bar and it was not busy. Sat there for 15 minutes and no service. We ended up leaving. I have heard so many good things about this place. I will not let the first impression stop me from trying again.. I will give it another chance.

Our group was in town for a few days for a conference and we came here twice - it’s fantastic! Great tapas style food, the beer lovers in our group loved the flights, and Leah’s cocktail recipes are a work of art! The service is great too! Very attentive, laid back and friendly! Wish I lived closer, it would be a repeat favorite. Kudos to the staff!!!
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem! I was in the area for work and this was one of the few places opened late. We walked in and was told the kitchen was closed but the staff was excellent and still made us some food that was incredibly tasty. The chicken nacho portion was insane and the chicken wings with Dave's BBQ sauce were perfect. We were so impressed that we came back the next night! The second time was just as good as the first. The manager Carl was running around making sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The bright spot for both evenings was Leah. Being a big whiskey fan, I was exceptionally impressed with their wide selection of high quality whiskeys but even more impressed with Leah's knowledge and suggestions about which one to try next. If you're in town and looking for good food, great service and fantastic whiskey, look no further!

Oak Trail Taphouse hits the spot every single time! Super friendly staff, tap beer selection is always on a solid rotation, and food quality is superior. You can tell the owner specifically makes certain decisions on the food as every dish I’ve tried has been outstanding! TVs are everywhere so you won’t miss any big game/fight moments. Highly recommended and family friendly as well! Swing on by, you won’t be disappointed! Cheers!

This space was a total surprise. I was staying up the road and heading to Libertyville a bit later ~10 pm on a Friday hoping to find a spot for a quick drink Yelp pops up this gem filled with the heart and soul of the area. Friendly chatty crowd. Good beer and cocktails. I would not say "upscale" but very clean with TVs, pool table and great beer selections
