Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

My husband went through the drive thru he ordered a 5 piece tender with fries and a gallon of sweet tea for me.He got home and gave it to me it was all wrong. The sweet tea had no sugar at all then the chicken was a 3 piece and very under cooked it was very pink in the middle, the fries was cold. I tryed to call popeyes atleast 6 times. Nobody answered the phone. I will not go to this popeyes again. This is the second time this has happened at this popeyes.

The car wash next-door is extremely loud. So she kept having me repeat my order. I asked her if she could hear me or if she would prefer I pull up to the window. With an attitude, she says “I CAN hear you!” I start repeating the order for the 3rd time and she says “can you speak a little louder? I can’t hear you.” No, but I can pull up to the window. I asked her to fry my shrimp fresh. Seafood is nothing to play with. I do not want shrimp that has been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for a rush. I wait at the window about 3 minutes and she passes me the bag. I say “wow that was fast”. Are these fresh? She said they’re good. I said “are they fresh?” She said you can check them. Check it for what “is it fresh or not?” I pull around to the front only to bite into a lukewarm shrimp. Shrimp freshly out the grease would’ve been burning my mouth. I didn’t have more time to waste with her, which is why I asked her to do it right the first time. Now I have to get out the car and go back in. She says “oh I thought it would’ve been good.” But I asked you specifically to fry the shrimp fresh! Tenders are also lukewarm warm. You cannot pile food up under a heat lamp more than a single layer and expected it to stay out of the temperature danger zone! The biscuit was actually cooked through and the sauces were correct.

Okay this is my favorite Popeyes. One time the manager came out to kill a rat with a broom right(2024). Like it’s always no bs here. Consistently good, and I get the same service everytime. I don’t go bc I like the service, I go bc I know what to expect and they deliver. I mean seriously when it comes to Popeyes this is one of the nicer ones. Food is always good, been eating here since 2020. Felt like I need to post this review

Rude staff, terrible service, and no proper greeting to customers. My order was missing an item, and when I brought it to their attention, they threw the extra item in the trash instead of resolving the issue properly. A complete waste of food and a clear lack of customer care.

Popeyes in Mundelein is fantastic! Super friendly and accommodating with large orders. We will continue to use them for our school functions.

The drive-thru is the main problem because the noise from the neighboring car wash. They need to install a sound barrier fence the car wash is so loud you cannot hear the speaker. You have to scream and they barely can understand you

This Popeyes is amazing! I couldn't imagine living without it. The people who work at this location are fantastic-- MUCH better than other Popeyes I've been to (looking at you 16th & National in Milwaukee). They were even open on Christmas Day when the big guys like McDonald's were closed. Thanks, Popeyes!!
