Good but general tso comes with jalapenos and mushrooms not broccoli which is strange
Food was not great and yet the customer service was even worse. Missing items in take out - they didnt want to refund us the full amount of the meal, after much debate they said they would credit us, but they never did. We went to the restaurant to get the refund and they gave us cash back for the meal. If the food we did receive had been really good we would probably order again and just check our bag more carefully, but the food wasn't great so it was not worth our efforts. Wish them the best in turning things around but really wish we had ordered from take out from Mambo Italiano's next-door instead ?
This food is next level! The people who work here are really nice and the food is fantastic. We are regulars here now. We recommend the garlic beef
One of my favorite places.
Good food
I really like Red Lantern. They make the most authentic Szechuan food I've had in the US. We never get tired of their delicious food.
Food was great!
Very good and comfortable food
One of the best Chinese food around with quality ingredients, balanced seasoning and kind service
Food was pretty good but their prices seem to be going up but I guess that's everywhere to

Really good food and very kind staff
Cozy little Chinese restaurant. Friendly table service if you are dining in. Lots of options including what I imagine are traditional Chinese. Large portions at a reasonable price. I got the chefs special dry chili chicken. It had great flavor and I've never seen that many chilis in a single dish. I'll be back to try other options.
Dined in a few days ago & really enjoyed my dry chili chicken & fried rice! The egg drop soup was a little different than what I've had in the past, but still good. Our server was very sweet.
This place is good at making traditional Sichuan style Chinese food. If you like Chinese-spicy, it is a must-go in northern Chicago area.
Amazing food, I loved everything I ordered, I felt like I was in Chongqing or Chengdu, because it was amazing Sichuan food. If you love Authentic Chinese food, you'll love this place.
