This place cooks exceptional Filipino
dishes. I ordered karekare, menudo, bbq pork and Ginataan Kalabasa. All delicious. Eat in or take out. Gracious service from Twyla.

I am Mehndi artist and one of my client hired me to do Mehndi for few of her friends in Bistro Manila.
This is very nice cozy restaurant. The atmosphere was very calm and soothing. Bistro's staff was very friendly and happy to serve their guests. I was there to do my Mehndi work, so I did not eat over there but all of my clients guests were admiring their food and their friendly smiling faces! It is very nice place to have a cozy quick lunch or dinner!

Honestly appalled that this place has as high a rating as it does. Came in the evening and all the food looked overcooked. I got the adobo and tocino and they were both severely overcooked and were also mostly fatty pieces. This place is an affront to filipino food. Go to jofen or Aurora instead

I'm very happy we found this place. The food is great, and it stands out because it has an authentic home-cooked taste that reminds me of being back in the Philippines.
When you walk in, you get welcomed in like you're coming back to a relative's house it just feels genuine and inviting.
Their menu does tend to change, but is posted online for viewing typically. You can see what you're going to get beforehand. Other items like lumpia are available to order upon request.
All food is delicious especially the bistek tagalog! Ordered a mocha cake for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit at the family Thanksgiving party.
Highly recommend checking this place out especially since the atmosphere along with the food really make you feel like you're back home in the Philippines!

Very Friendly staff and Excellent variety of desserts and hot Filipino food. The Menu changes daily.
Don't arrive on time. I got there 11:30a but nothing was ready and they opened at 11a. Food not on display and drinks/cans fridge not filled. There is no menu on display, it is pick your food item from what's available for the day.
If I recall correctly, small container is 12, large container 20, and combo plate (rice and 2 items) is 14. It's not posted anywhere, I had to ask.
The selection is not extensive. The ambiance of the place is nice and clean though. Seats 24 by tables of 2 and 4
Overall the food is ok but really salty. They give large chunks of meat. The pork adobo was oily, and I know it gets oily normally, but the picture shows the sauce was straight oil. The sinigang was average. I don't even think they have eggs rolls, they weren't on display or written anywhere as available to purchase.
The service is kind, but they need to get coordinated. I thought they were offering a free dessert for them not being ready at opening, but it was simply a suggestion for me to purchase.

It was locked when I went there. Don’t waste your time. It’s only noon.
We love Bistro Manila! It’s the only Filipino restaurant in our area. We would usually order food to go when we are craving for Filipino food. Recently, we celebrated our son’s baptism in the restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food is always delicious and the owners are so friendly and nice.

First visit at lunchtime just to see what the food was like. Not many choices left, but I opted for the pork adobo a la carte for takeout. The price is outrageous - paid $15 for a 6-inch plastic container that would have cost less than $10 at the other Filipino stores close to Fox Valley mall or a take out from a Chinese restaurant. Meat was dry and dark probably due to overcooking and too much soy sauce - but no vinegar taste ( the latter in typical adobo dishes). Did not taste good like the adobo from other local Filipino restaurants - maybe due to regional differences. Bottom line is, I will not return. It will be worth just going to the other venues whose cuisine is more authentic - or cooking it myself.

We went here due to my craving for Pinoy food. My husband (not Pinoy) liked everything that we ordered such as tortang talong, ginataang kalabasa-sitaw, and kare-kare. Afterwhich, we decided that this is the place where we will order for our party that happened last Saturday. Everybody loved the lumpiang shanghai, bbq skewers, pancit bihon, and the ube halaya flan!!! Most of the guest wanted to know what’s the recipe for the lumpia 😂. I would definitely go back to this small, charming Filipino restaurant. The interior reminds of those small eateries in the Philippines (just a little upgraded).

All the dishes are authentic tasting Filipino Tagalog food. (My sister cooks all of them).
And when you drop by, don’t miss taking home a jar of Atchara and scrumptious Bibinkas made by tita, the owner herself, they are oh so yummy.
Very solid spot for some just-like-home-cooking Filipino food. Tried the tocino and pork sinigang in the combo plate with rice. Ube cassava was also exceptional.
So, we tried coming here on a Saturday and says they’re open til 6pm. It was 5:20 and they’re already closed. Please be considerate about having your time on google because people come here from far away and try this restaurant and just for it to be close 30 minutes before.
