We came here by accident. Trying to go to Deccan Spice, but ended up here. Decided to try it anyways. Ordered Tikka Masala, naan, and basmati. Took 30 minutes, plus an extra 10 minutes for the basmati to come out. The masala was SO SALTY it was difficult to eat. The naan was chewy. The rice was the only good part of the meal. I ordered a half tray of zafrani mutton biryani and four orders of chicken 65 for pickup on 5/31. I came home to serve it to guests and saw a hair in the biryani. Obviously, no one was comfortable eating from the tray, and I threw it out. Because it was $90 of food wasted, I called to get a refund on 6/1. The restaurant was a hidden halal gem with perfectly crispy chicken samosas, delicious filling, and good chutneys. Main course had Chicken Mandi, Chicken 65 Biryani, and doodh patti Chai that easily gave fancier teahouses a run for their money. The mutton biryani was fresh, authentic and perfectly spiced, and the palak paneer and naan were also really good. Food was fresh, full of flavor, extremely juicy, tender and flavorful without being too spicy. Staff were super friendly and the vibe was cozy.
