Tasty food . Good ambience.
Visited Desi Chowrastha and had a very mixed experience. Samosa Ragda was the star of the evening — really tasty! Baby Corn Manchurian was tangy and not so enjoyable. But the Paneer Tikka Masala and both Naans were really disappointing. Worst of all, the Mango Lassi tasted like spoiled milk — completely undrinkable and $5.99 for that is simply not acceptable. Chill environment, good food, best irani chai. One of my fav neighborhood places and the only place that has hot evening snacks selection that goes beautifully with chai. Some of our favorite dishes are their sandwiches, paneer dosa, jalapeno chicken, samosa, pakoda (if you can get hot), chaat, biryani.

However, some items on the menu may be out of stock. The Irani chai is a highlight, and the restaurant is a great spot for evening snacks like punugulu, bonda, and bhel puri. The food is authentic and comfort meal, and the prices are affordable. Overall, Desi Chowrastha is a solid spot with solid flavors and good service.
