We were surprised with a lunch bill that included 2 rootbeers that they charged $10 each! I just looked up 1919 rootbeer on Amazon and could get it for about 2.50 each. It was not even treated special with a chilled mug. They just put a straw in the can. With a bill of $55 for lunch, I do not plan to return.
Added after response:
Thank you for clarifying the “2 @ $10” that appeared twice on our check. Unfortunately, your hardworking server was unable to explain it when we asked. That simple courtesy could have prevented this review and even changed the tip.
This was my first visit, encouraged by the positive reviews. My daughter enjoyed the grateful bread, but my Detroit pizza was disappointing—while the edges were good, the sauce was so watery that the toppings kept sliding off.
What was most discouraging, though, was the response you gave. Instead of simply addressing the root beer issue, the choice was to be unkind. That experience made me feel uncomfortable returning to try anything else. Kindness could have removed the review and you could have had a returning costumer. Good luck with your vibe.

Our waiter was nice. Very positive attitude. Got me a refill on my Diet Coke without me even asking. That’s always appreciated. The first pizza was nice. Flavor was good. Second was less tasty but the cook time on it was perfect. Nice crunch. The Detroit style pizza wasn’t good at all (this is my option. Please try for yourself. I like thin and crispy) Wasn’t my cup of tea and it wasn’t cooked long enough. Good vibes here.
I would say just cook that Detroit style pizza longer it would have been better. Thanks for the meal.

Love that place

The Neapolitan, Detroit, and tavern pizzas are all incredible. Don’t sleep on the wings, they are amazing too. The rock and roll ambiance is refreshing. Top notch all around.

I love the atmosphere of this place as I enjoy hard rock, heavy metal, all different subgenres and everything in between as well as period specific music. This place definitely has a metal friendly vibe. The food is really good and reasonably priced. If you want pizza, there's a wide array of pizzas to choose from. Pasta is somewhat limited but if you're coming here, it's probably for the pizza. Appetizer selection is decent and the sandwiches they offer are great. If salad is your thing, they also offer a decent selection. You can make your own pizza here and the options are pretty well versed. They play concert videos on their TVs which I think is cool. If you like music and great food this place is great. Even if you don't like the type of music this place plays, it's not played loud, you can still enjoy great food. They also have some nice dessert options for kids and adults and it's a very family friendly place. Everyone working here who we've encountered is very nice and accommodating. Overall, if you like a hard rock / music focused place with really good and reasonably priced food (shout out to the Pearl Jam pizza if you like Italian beef and hot giardenere on your pizza) this place is really good and I think you'll like it. Local businesses that do it well always get my business.

Cool spot to come in and have a drink. Great space and a huge selections of things to drink. The food is the wildcard here. But overall great service and a good chill atmosphere.

Interesting pizza, bar dine in or take out. We all tried several different types of pizza. Everyone thought the Taco Pizza was a stand out.
Great service.

Been coming to this place on a weekly basis since they opened. Everything on the menu is excellent and they are always trying new and different things. They have a robust craft beer selection that rotates. Their whisky selection is top notch. They just started serving tavern pizza and we love it! There really is something for everyone. We are so glad this place is close by!

Food names are inspired by rock and roll bands. This is one of our regular spots. Large selection of whiskeys and beer. Usually one limited time pizza every 2 (?) weeks. Servers are friendly. The service at the bar and the table is very good. Music can get a little too loud at times. Specials for early and later dining.

Emily was such a wonderful waitress I cannot express my gratitude for her kindness and thoughtful service! The tavern style is insane and I’m so glad she gave us that rec. Very welcoming and family friendly experience :)
