Detroit pizza to go was fine, got the burrata and hot honey. Could have been cooked a little longer but in the same vein we could have asked for well done......most of the burrata was stuck to the top of the box so perhaps not the best choice for a carry out either. Like I said, fine but not worth a second try at least for Detroit style.

Love this place. The food is consistently great, the beer and whiskey selection is excellent, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. Watching legendary live performances on the big screens while enjoying a pizza and a drink always makes for a great night.

My wife and I have always enjoyed coming here, and we specifically chose this restaurant because the pizza is excellent. Unfortunately, we picked the wrong night to visit. It happened to be trivia night, and the speakers were so loud that my Apple Watch repeatedly warned me that prolonged exposure could lead to hearing loss.
We tried to stick it out for about five minutes, but the noise was overwhelming and actually left me feeling disoriented. We ultimately had to leave without eating.
I'm all for themed events like trivia nights, but there was no need for the volume to be that excessive. I hope the owner will consider lowering it in the future so guests who come to enjoy a meal can still have a comfortable experience.

I had their whole pizza one time at different location and was pretty decent. I will say the pizza slices they serve at lunch was the first and only time I've never been able to finish a slice of pizza. Impossible to pick up and was basically raw and just had a taste that was nauseating. Yes it could have been a bad batch but damn.... I also have to add that I was served this while sitting at the bar and it was not to go. I managed the pizza place for 10 years soni know a little how it should be.

We ordered the regular detroit style with cup and char pepperoni added through Uber Eats. I honestly hope someone made a mistake with it-- I've made a LOT of pizza at home (Neapolitan rather than Detroit style, maybe that makes a difference). It's a fairly simple food, and I for one advocate for a touch of sugar in the sauce to bring out the sweetness of the tomatoes definitely not present in Freedom Bros sauce). It was COOKED just right. The main issue is it was so so SO SALTY that we couldn't eat it. We are seriously not picky about pizza; even if it's not our favorite, we'll eat it! I would guess there was a tablespoons instead of teaspoons of salt accident made (hopefully-- if not, I am very confused by the reviews, considering saltiness is such a basic element). I had like 3 bites and then had to chug water and leave the rest, and my kids did not eat it either (they are also NOT picky about pizza). Can't stand food waste, but it's probably gonna have to go in the trash π₯ΊSeriously disappointing!
Edit: my hubby kept it and I tried it again this morning. I think I overreacted a little bit, it's not inedible, just extremely salty. Maybe we just don't like super salty sauce and some people do? Or maybe that's a Detroit pizza thing. I do love plenty of salt, but I stand by that this is way too salty, but it's not inedible!
Just a great place for pizza & beer. Attentive staff

The Marshall Mathers pizza is 11/10,
Very loud and noisy.
Live music also.

I think their pizza is quite good. A nice slightly chewy crust, and a wide variety of toppings. What I also love is their beer selection. I like Belgian ales and other somewhat hard to find beers when I go out. They have a lot for me to choose from. That makes them worth the drive.

Love the pizza here! Great options for each style - Neapolitan, tavern, and Detroit. Weβve been to this location and the Plainfield location dozens of times. Always a great time! You really canβt go wrong. Recently, there have been really good bands and solo performers on the weekends. Great service. Lots of drink options if thatβs your thing!

My husband and I went to freedom Brothers today for an early dinner number one when we walked in weβre African-American. They looked at us like we were crazy number two once we receded. We sat there for like 20 minutes. Nobody came and asked if we were ready to order. In fact they went to other couples before they came to. They didnβt even come to our table, so we just got up and left so to be honest you guys suck.
