The service of Naperville was horrible, they didn’t have any service for us, never refill water and ask us for more meats! They charged us upon the amount after the tax and it was default 20%, and they didn’t let me know they charged tip already! Do I need to pay tip for tax too???? They are so bad!!!! Chinatown location services are so good!

We had lunch there a few days ago ( 4 adults and 2 babies). The food was pretty good and fresh. The service was alright considering they were quite busy on that day and had a lot of customers to take care of. According to their policy, 18% tips will be automatically added to the bills for a party of over 6 people (it’s ok if the babies are counted…) . When I looked at the final bill, actually 20% tips were added based on the final price after tax!!! ( Also, I think it should be calculated before the tax since we are paying the tax to the government?) It would be OK to charge 20% tips if you clearly stated it on the menu and provided the level of service that deserved 20% tips. Though only a few more dollars were added in the final bill, at least you SHOULD let the customers know. Now it’s a matter of HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY. One piece of advice: MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE FINAL PRICE ON THE BILL!

I've eaten here before and the food was good enough.The issue is the service. Called in to reserve a table for 2 and was literally laughed at. The guy said they only take reservations for parties of 8+.Cool. I get it, but be professional about it. Host tells me I go on yelp and join a waitlist. I try that while on the phone with him and it isn't working. Host is unhelpful and tells me to try later, so I asked to speak to a manager. Manager was nice and informed me the waitlist doesn't open until 5pm.None of this was an issue 2 years ago. Very frustrating. They need to get their logistics in order.

I've visited Happy Lamb where I live in Houston, and the experience was the same. The quality of food was good. I'm just not a fan of the broth selections. I feel as though they're not flavorful enough. I frequent a restaurant here in Houston called Volcano Hot Pot, and their soup broth is insane! Idk if it's because it's Korean inspired or what.The service was great as well as the atmosphere. I would visit again if it's winter and I'm in town and want to hot pot.

I had to update my reciew due to the last time I went. The service was horrendous. And I am guessing it's because I had my birthday party along with my cousins and there were 15 or so people there and they knew the tip was already added. The service was 2 stars at best. I was very disappointed throughout the entire meal. But, the food has always been amazing! I can't knock them for that. I think I've been to this restaurant probably 20 + times. It's just unfortunate that the service was what it was.This has definitely got to be one of my favorite hot pot places to go ❤ I've been coming here for years. Always a good time!Vegetarian options: There's a ton of meat and fish. I don't know if the broth is vegetarian based...

Took my lovely gf for her birthday lunch. Wasn't expecting pretty much $50 per head. I was also unaware that "Hot Pot" is pretty much cooking your own food too. Vocalized to a younger guy at the entrance working that it's our first time and all he said was "buffet round the corner". Keep in mind I'm not familiar with "hot pot" and saw everything not cooked. The decorations we're pretty inside and the seating arrangements we're good. The menu is 1/4 English with only two prices listed for food. After tips and tax it's pretty much $50 per person. It was my mistake for trying something new. Now I'm out money, my gf is beyond upset with me, and no food for today for me:/. Just a friendly reminder to Google everything before going somewhere. The folks seemed nice and it's a fun thing to do with your significant other, friends, and family. Just me personally, I don't go to restaurants to cook my own food.

First time at a restaurant like this. Amazing food and service. Waitress was super kind while explaining how they run their operation. Kumquat lemon juice is my favorite. Cleanliness is superb and selection is amazing. 10/10 Bringing my parents next time.
