Loved loved loved. The atmosphere is great and the drinks are superior. Will definitely return. We only had the fried doughnuts but they were super yummy.

Went here with a large group for my friend's birthday. We walked in and stated we had a reservation, and the doorman mumbled something and told us to wait at bottom of stairs. Other people had walked in behind us and tried to go up the stairs, which they too got yelled at to go back down and wait. The bouncer definitely could've been nicer and we're jam packed in a very small space waiting. We got sat at our table and were brought water glasses. We never got a bottle of water at all that night just a bunch of empty glasses sat there. We had to go up to bar and ask for napkins. We tried to flag down someone several times to bring us some water, but finally gave up. Saw other tables had bottles at theirs. Service was poor and server seemed uninterested. Made a point to tell us we'd have to wait 20 min for our drink and that 3 parties were waiting ahead of us. I don't think we needed to know we were all talking anyways and would've welcomed our drinks whenever they came. The space is nice and speakeasy like but all the leather couches are falling apart. The drinks are all very unique. I usually drink vodka and there weren't any featured cocktails with vodka, so I tried the one the server said was most popular- crystal pistol. I personally thought it was awful. The BFD wasn't great. They were out of the spicy marg style drink. I remember coming here before covid, sitting at the bar, and the experience was very different. Not sure what has happened but it seems to have gone downhill. Was looking forward to the fun drinks and vibe of the place, but was disappointed.

A cozy bar experience with various craft cocktails that change seasonally. The service varies, but is generally good and professional. If they ever have a menu you disagree with, you can simply ask for standard cocktails (ie. Old fashioned) and you will get a great version of one.

We were there for their New Year’s Eve event and there was one poor guy scrambling to serve every table. We paid $125 each for what?? No party favors, shorted us a bottle of champagne, the music they played was drowned out by the band downstairs, Christmas decorations still up. Basically just a place to leave our coats while went downstairs where the tables were littered with party favors. Also started the countdown one minute early. Was still a good time but just because we were all making fun of how bad the service was. Also the drinks were disgusting. From the speakeasy bar AND the downstairs bar.

Came for NYE for the second time and it was horrible. We were ignored all night after paying $140 per person just to be there. Originally our reservation for 5 was sat at the bar instead of a table. We asked multiple times to be helped, and we're still ignored. When we asked for the bill they had charged us for multiple things we hadn't ordered or gotten. Would not recommend, I can't imagine what their service is like normally when this is supposed to be an elevated experience.

The drinks were good. However, we were seated right next to the entrance door and the staff kept going in and out banging the door which was extremely loud. The waitress (long blond hair) tried to make us leave about 30 mins before the 2 hr reservation time. When we told her we had more time she then went to check and said she was incorrect. I believe some more training for staff on customer service would make customers’ experiences a better one.

This place is AWFUL!!! We had reservations and that was fine. The waitress was rude, abrupt and completely uninterested in serving us. She took our drink orders pretty quickly, but didn't return for at least 30 minutes and forgot about some of the drinks. When we asked about them, she rolled her eyes. By the time we wanted a second round it was ridiculously difficult to even get her to acknowledge us. We would have spent a lot of money and left a good tip but she was just terrible. Additionally, they were out of many of the drinks and they only do drinks off of the menu. Don't go here!

We had a reservation but still had to wait outside in the cold for half an hour. And then we had to share a table with another customer. The cocktails were mediocre - just tasted very boozy. The bread they use for charcuterie is literally a sliced up bagged sandwich roll from a grocery store like what you would use for Italian beef. It even had the slice in it. You get a very small amount of cheese. I don’t think they understand what bao is either because they grilled/toasted them on a flat top. They did taste good though but I think they should call them something else because they aren’t bao. The shredder salad was excellent. I liked the music they were playing but it was a little loud for how small the room is.

The first thing to know about this place is that it's located inside Empire restaurant. It gives speakeasy vibes, so you won't see signage anywhere outside. The lounge is located on the 2nd floor, accessible by stairs only, so it would be difficult for someone in a wheelchair or other with limitations to get there. The place is small and appears to be understaffed. There was only one gentleman taking orders from everyone. He did his best serving everyone, but the service was a bit delayed at times. This might explain why we're required to make a reservation. They had a nice selection of specialty cocktails. Overall, the ambiance was very chill. I will try this place again.

I happened to stumble across this place by accident. I've been living in DT Naperville for a few years and never knew this place existed. I was pleasantly surprised. I stopped by late on a Friday night for a quick drink. The ambiance is pretty nice and the drinks are amazing. The bartender Nate offered friendly service and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be back!

This was our very first time here. If I could give zero, I would. We were excited to try as there are very very few cocktail bars/lounges in the area. We went this past Saturday, August 26, 2023. We had a reservation for 10:00pm for 4 people. We arrived and the door guy who was sitting in the stairwell was so rude to the people who walked in behind us. We mentioned we had a reso and he said to give him a minute and wait down stairs until he came back. Before he went up, more people walked in behind us. He was so rude when they asked for a table. They had no reservation. He mentioned they were not accepting walk-ins at this time but wasn't very clear about. He came back and brought us up to the entrance door. Once we got up there, we had to wait again bc it didn't look like our table was ready. He stepped back inside. We were waiting right outside the bar door bc he told as to. As we were waiting, more people came up the stairs behind us to wait in line. There were at least 10 people behind the 4 of us. We were at the front. He came back out and just started yelling at everyone "EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO DOWNSTAIRS, NOW!!!! DOWNSTAIRS NOW!!! EVERYONE GET DOWN STAIRS!!!! NOW!!!!!!" Straight up so rude and yelling at people who had no idea what was going on or what to expect. That included us even tho he asked us to come up stairs and wait again. We started walking back down the stairs all while he was still yelling at everyone as we were walking down the stairs. We walked down and straight tf out and across the street to Sullivans. There wasn't a chance we'd stay even if a table did open up for our reservation due to his rudeness. So glad we we left. He was SO RUDE. Skip this place and just go to Sullivans or Hugo's for great cocktails. We easily spent $450 on just drinks and shots at Sully's LOL! We were ready to drinkkk drink! They should probably put signage up that says wait for host. They should also put a sign on the main door for when they are full and to wait etc. They should also turn off reservations in the Tock app if they cannot accommodate reservations AND walk-ins. Wild they don't.
