Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

Few days ago I Waited to get my order taken for about 10 minutes. I could see the guy in the back on his phone. Finally he took my order and had an attitude. Believe his name was pat.Oberweis should really hire people that want to make a positive experience.

I was there when it seemed it a bit busy today. The people scooping seemed overwhelmed meanwhile the manager was sitting in the cafe talking to a boy. Really should be helping your employees..

Would’ve given this location five stars for everything if it weren’t for the waste of space they call a manager. Really brings down the experience. She constantly barks orders at the younger employees and then retreats back to her office. The employees seem overwhelmed and frustrated with their boss. Believe her name was Lisa.

Staff is awesome ! Paige, Reilly and Nico but uhm why doesn’t that tips go to the staff? I think that’s ridiculous considering they are the ones we are tipping ! Wish I could take my tip back.

I just purchased two 2% organic milks. I picked them up both from the same plastic square container ( Crate). When I got home, 1 milk have an expiration date until January 6th (which is till tomorrow) and 2nd have an expiration date until January 22nd.Does the manager/store employee trying to mix milks in crate with different expiration dates together?? (THAT IS NOT NICE)Everyone who buys milk at this store, check the expiration date on every single bottle so that you don't end up drinking expired milk and get sick.

Best quality ice cream in Chicagoland area. I always make an effort to visit Oberweis when in town! Coffee flavor ice cream is the best.

I've been coming to this location for years and Addison had to be the coolest employee that's ever helped us. She showed us the pins on her hat, but mentioned that she doesn't have an employee of the month pin. Please consider this as a formal vote to make Addison employee of the month so that girl can get the pin she deserves!
