We ordered delivery for 40 people for st pattys day and everything was wonderful! All good reviews on the taste of the corned beef and all the sides! We will be back. Thank you from all the staff at White Tavern Naperville!

Was on the hunt for decent bagels in the suburbs since going into the city for a bagel is not always ideal. I stumbled upon this place and am so happy I found it! No, the bagels are not a replica of a NYC bagel but for conveniently being in the suburbs, I'm not mad at it. I loved it actually. I am speaking of their bagels as an individual and not comparing it to others. With that in mind, I would give them an 8/10. Their staff is always so warm, welcoming and cheerful. They do have a drive thru which is great. Yes the wait may be long for a drive thru but keep in mind it's made to order so I don't really mind that. I've tried several bagels from here including blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin (my fave), onion bagel with Lox cream cheese, everything bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. It hits every time and has yet to disappoint me. This place is easy and has become a new weekend morning go to for me.

Lynne in catering was so helpful and kind to us as we planned the food for a shiva. Schmaltz's delivered all the way to Hoffman Estates with a very reasonable delivery fee, and the woman who drove here also set up all the food. The trays were attractive and beautifully arranged and the food got nothing but rave reviews. It was all delicious. We highly recommend that anyone who needs deli catering use Schmaltz's deli. We couldn't have been happier.

I absolutely love this place. The best bagel sandwich ever—I crave it, and I make sure to get one on my birthday.

We had an entirely great experience at Schmaltz Deli! The clean, bright and warm ambiance, coupled with friendly and helpful employees provided a comfortable and relaxing meal. A wide variety of bagels and assorted cream cheeses were top notch. Don't forget your bialy that's prepared on the weekends only. Assorted smoked fish sandwiches and salads, soups, egg omelets and scrambled, vegetarian offerings, yogurts, cereals, fruit bowls, oatmeal, French toast, deli hash, candied pastrami slices and a huge selection of baked goods all provide something for everybody. The outdoor seating is available for those great weather days. I highly recommend frequenting Schmaltz Deli! Well done to the ownership and staff at Schmaltz Deli! KUDOS!

Fridges coolers and display cases where mostly empty. $3.50 plus tax for a can of soda is robbery. I got the over stuffed sloppy Paul. Seem to be pretty light for an over stuff. Sandwich at $20. The restaurant and layout was awkward. It took an extremely long amount of time to get a sandwich to go when they didn't appear to be highly busy. Not sure I'd go back. The sandwich overall was good but didn't blow my socks off. The meat was paper thin.

Food is delicious. Downside, three pounds of corned beef, loaf of bread, small carton of sauerkraut and two cookies was $80?!

This was my first visit to the new location. Let me clue you in to the changes. First, when you walk in there is a hostess stand. If you are pciking up or ordering you will be directed to the left. Now, you can dine in with table service. Yes, a wait staff person will come over and take your order and then deliver it to your table. That was the biggest surprise. Tables are to the right. You must wait to be seated. There is a separate room with double glass doors to the back on the right side. Keep in mind that if you go to the left upon entering, that side is for ordering carry-out, picking up carryout, drive-up window, and those who want to order and eat in (like at the old location). That is also where the glass cases of food items are as well as refrigerated items. The new setup may take some getting used to, especially if you knew how Chin's had been laid out.

Loved going to Schmaltz in past. I went today and was so disappointed. The sandwich sizes used be healthy and was hard to finish. This is why I didn't mind spending the extra money for a sandwich. Today I went in and the bread they put the Sloppy Paul on was tiny, about the size of a Starbucks coffee lid. Flavor was good but I don't think I will go back.
